Integration with Google Fit

I'd very much like my fitbit data available in Google Fit. I use a different app for food logging, but Fitbit's step counter, sleep tracker, and aria are great.

If their data was available through the new Google Fit it would be fantastic.

The first request appeared in 2014.   The actual functionality takes a week or two to implement if Fitbit really want to.  I sincerely doubt that Fitbit will ever synchronize with Google Fit. 

I am moving away from Fitbit.  I have replaced a zip unit with Jawbone.  The fact that I feel I have wasted my money on Aria left a bad taste in my mouth.

Hi, this feature is important to me as well. Its astonishing fitbit doesn't have it. So many platforms rely on this syncing and I would be discouraged to buy another fitbit should it be missing...

I came specifically to see if fit bit synced with googleFit (my go to fitness app) before I purchase a fit bit for the first time. I've taken my health seriously and have lost 40lbs since October. Now I'm ready for a wearable that when give me better activity and heart rate monitoring. However, sync with Google Fit is mandatory. I already returned a Garmin because it didn't sync with GoogleFit (birthday present). So, after taking time to create an account, and download this app, after already having the exact Fitbit picked out, I came here to ensure fitbit can do one last important function and it can't. And people have been asking for over two years! Darn, back to researching wearables and using my phone as a fitness device for now. You've lost a potential customer.  And I'll definitely leave negative feedback on the app for sure.

Like the hundreds of others who have requested this over almost three years, I'd like this integration made available as well.

So strange to see a company just throw away money being offered them by customers who say "I'll buy when you can do this."

I would live to see Google fit and fit bit app integrate. I really like google fit for logging "untracked" exercise and for logging food. But I LOVE my fitbit. I also wish there was a way for me to say for example "ok google log '2 egg white and wheat toast to breakfast' " and have it automatically log the food.

Integration with Google Fit is mandatory to survivel, I bought yesterady a Fitbit One for the moments that I don't want to have something in my wrist... eg my Sony SW3, and I'm disapointed that my wife Xiaomi Mi Band 2 has a lot more functionality and integration with Google Fit.

What would be my typical usage? When I'm not with a Smartwatch (sleeping... for example) i would like to be "counted and accounted" for physical activity or lack of it, it is something complimentary if not will redundant in no time, and I mus have a point a integration ideally Google Fit , but if not Fitbit App.

This lack of integration is not acceptable.

@cesarjr I've been living with fitnesssyncer for about a week now.  I run the app on my phone.  It initially sync'd Fitbit data with Google Fit, then stopped.  From the FitnessSyncer web page, I "reset" the Fit integration, and since the reset, it is autosynching data.  Steps, runs including distance and speed.... what I'm looking for short term.

So after signing into Google and a password and a disclosure notice I was finally able to write this. 

Please allow Fitbit to sync , link, talk, communicate with Google fit...  This would enable you to generate greater sells as I have several family members that are not happy with Google watches but they work with the phones general apps.  

Fitbit app is great but options are king in sells.

Hahaha, you should see the request for Apple Healthkit integration … 4400+ votes which makes this THE top request. But Fitbit has hidden it from view so you can only see it if you know the URL. And the only occasional response you get is from a moderator claiming that "they're" looking at it. But that's the moderators looking at it … not a developer or the Fitbit management.

I'm done with this subject. Too many folks have requested the integration and FitBit has not taken action. There are MANY new devices from other comapanies out there that are much less expensvice.  If you look at FitBit's stock, they have been getting their but whipped.  Garmin has some great devices and many many china cheep devices.

Funny I actually bought t a fitbit device today and I'm returning it in the morning.  3 years with request upon request and still no Google fit integration. Oh well  ill stick with my polar a300 for now. And keep searching for my next fitness tracker.

Edit: I just got a mi band. It's worth it for the fraction of the price of a fitbit.

It´s time to sync fitbit data with google fit. We wait too long for this feature.

I don't know why fitbit refuses, because the transfer of the data the fitapp man still needs, thus no user because google will no longer use the fitapp
