I wish that fitbit had these features too as it would be super helpful! Great suggestions
I think I found a work around — instead of using the water log I have changed the number of oz to 24 to represent hours and then track number of hours fasted this way
Ability to track start and finish times for intermittent fasting with an extra piece on the dashboard to show average fasting interval time, average start and average finish times. The ability to track this key health KPI vs heart rate, sleep, exercise and calories would create an overall health monitor.
Hi @444noni, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback about the possibility of tracking start and finish time for intermittent fasting. This feature suggestion already exists and it's Under Consideration status, so I’ve moved your post here, this helps to keeps the boards more organized.
Thank you again for your participation in the Community!
Ideally the user could enter date and time when fasting begins and ends and the app would calculate length of fast.
Also (but less important) it would also be nice if you could choose NOW and how many hours you want to fast, and it would tell you what time that fast should end.
Thank you so much for working on this, it will make fitbit so much more useful for the Intermittant fasting folks!
hi Fitbit developers! i would love to please sign up to beta test this feature when it becomes available?? Thank you for considering it!

hi again Fitbit developers! in my previous post i forgot to add that i have tried a work-around that might be a good starting point to implement this request. In the feature to track water, I changed my goal to 24fl oz and then I log my hours fasted - I like it because it already has reminders to drink water so I just interpret it to keep fasting instead. hope this idea helps and thanks for all that you do at fitbit!
So will it be a free service to FitBit users (Intermittent fasting tracker). I am already having to use a separate app for IF. I was hoping FitBit would integrate it into their app. This would be more helpful than their women's health tracker.
Free Service is the aim, it depends on fitbit to allow run it in the background. But generally speaking, nobody would like to leave an app open for e.g. 16 h to track. It is still a watch, tracking your all over progress. I was thinking about adding in it to the background with two colors, but it has its limits and might cause trouble being overloaded.
I agree! It would be so nice to have body measurements!! And possibly a body fat calculator with that, because then it can be a more accurate reading of how fit you are rather than relying solely on body weight, which has a lot of factors in determining If you're "healthy" or not.
Hi@MrPoen, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback about the possibility of keeping track of intermittent fasting. I noticed that a similar feature suggestion already exists, so I’ve moved your posthere, this helps to keeps the boards more organized. Make sure to add your vote as well to support this suggestion, this helps the team of developers to keep track of popularity and demand over time.

Hi @Joartmm, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to see an Intermittent Fasting tracker on the Fitbit app. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". I hope to see you around.
Would be great to have little encouragements, too. Especially for new fasters. "You've been fasting for # hours! Your body is doing xyz. Keep it up!" "Your fast is almost up! How about a quick workout to boost your results?" "One hour remaining in your feeding zone."
I would really appreciate being able to track my fasts with all of my other FitBit data. The Autophagy app allows you to set a timer for a fast, but I like to log my fasts after completion (start and end times) and track both my fasting and eating windows. PLEASE create a fasting feature.
I have a charge 4 and would definitely use Intermittent fasting app. I track what I eat and how many calories on my Fitbit app and would love to be able to track Intermittent fasting too.
