I agree with this... mine turns on all the time while doing daily tasks, and more often than not (while my wrist is bent for a few seconds) it goes to the DND or sleep settings and turns it on/off as well. I find this to be extremely frustrating!
I literally just got mine today. I’ve been wearing it for about 3 hours now since I set it up. This is the only thing bad about that is kinda of a big issue for me. I mean look here I am typing into google (how to Lock Screen Fitbit Inspire 2) and found this page. I’m right handed and wearing it with the dominant hand setting, and every time I move my hand around to do anything it keeps going straight to DND and sleep settings. I would like to wear this while working out and I hope it doesn’t do it but I’m willing to beat it will. Please fix this so we can do a Lock Screen option for Clock. Thank y’all!
I agree please change this, it already stopped my work out a couple of times, and when I noticed it stopped, I was already done with training so it didn't gett my full workout
Hi @Dorsbee, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to lock screen function on Inspire 2. Thanks for sharing your feedback. I've moved it into a similar request. A lot of users are asking for this option, I hope we receive updates soon.
This is a huge problem and is now causing my battery to drain excessively, shortening the life from 10 days to 4. I've reached out via chat and have only been told to 'wear it higher'. But like most people my arm gets wider as it goes up, so unless I put the strap so tight that it wont move it just slides back down to where it should sit (on my wrist). They either need to extend the time which is required to hold those two sensors before the menu comes up (10 seconds maybe) or just disable it all together.
@Jenniferagann I use the water lock feature as recommended on here. It is brilliant. Massive difference on battery life and it still tracks your sleep and everything else 👍
I am considering returning the fitbit because of this. It constantly goes off and buzzes. It is extremely annoying during my workouts and when sleeping at night. I am surprised this is a feature or that it cannot be turned off...
Yes please. I have used the swim lock but I still can’t track duration of my workout to “get credit” for it. This is mainly an issue with weight training where my wrist bends often. I will need to return the Fitbit vibrate unfortunately. I love it so much. So much lighter than Apple Watch. Perfect for me other than this.
Definitely need something in place. My idea was to just disable the hand facing sensor, because you only need one anyways, it doesnt make sense to have two 'buttons'
This has already been an issue for so long, should really be addressed already 😩
