Maintain Fitbit web dashboard going forward

As an older user, my eyesight and hand eye coordination are poor. So, I prefer the website dashboard on my PC. That dashboard keeps directing us to the mobile app. Please assure you will continue maintaining both as I cannot rely solely on the mobile app. Please consider all of your customers when providing tools. Many thanks!

What an innovation! Using a website on a computer to view data! I'm guessing it would take some sort of genius company to come up with an idea like that. I don't think google is up to the task. Can they even run a web server?

actually, Fitbit does have the ability to change things - see Section 18 of the Terms of Service

The Disability Community (and those that love being able to monitor their data) need to speak up loudly about this - not just here, but on social media, sites there they can leave reviews. Tag other accounts that would be interested.  I am looking at Garmins now.

Bring back the browser version! I have had a Fitbit since 2013, and as part of my daily routine I was checking my steps, sleep etc every morning on the nice big computer screen. My eyes aren't good enough to see all the tiny writing and the useless interface on the app, so I will now probably also be forced to change to a different provider. Such a shame, I have the Aria scales and everything and have been proudly Fitbit all the way until now...

The website displayed calories burned for 5 minute intervals wheras the app only displays if for 1 hour intervals.
The mobile app doesn't display your sleep record until several hours after waking up, wheras the website would display it right away. If you edit sleeping hours it also takes hours to display the updated sleep times on the app.

I didn't say they don't have the ability to change things; I said that it's a bad change and they should reconsider.  I'm not alone in feeling this way. I also have to ability to buy a new product and stop using fitbit altogether.

Fitbit has become steadily worse in the past few years.  I've had Fitbits for over 12 years and originally it was a great product with fantastic customer support.  Now it's a so-so product with lousy customer support.  Disabling the dashboard is the final straw.  I will not be purchasing a new Fitbit once this one goes dead (which they all do eventually).  So long Fitbit.  It was nice while it lasted.

since google took over, the updates have not been productive. the web dashboard is just the latest example!!! Please stop screwing with things! my fitbit is 2 year old, and when it dies, it's definitely going to be a moment to consider the options. this system was working wonderfully. I guess i have to stop there, since there is 350 spaces.uggh

Their new kids watch is a joke too. It forces you into a bundled cellular plan and you can't call anyone who's not a guardian. It's restrictions nobody needed.

Food log still accessible (for now)

Also the API still exists so we could write a custom dashboard I guess.

I'm Certain Alphabet will conveniently wipe all the dashboard programming
away... Oops, our bad!, Sorry.
Don't hold your breath. Corporate has decided, and to hell with the
customers. It reminds me of Enron.

So agree with the other comments. Just can't use a phone to input my data because of my poor eyesight (and dyslexic fingers!).

Bring it back. i will need to consider my tracker options once my current Fitbit bites the dust because of this totally unhelpful and aggravating change.

I cancelled my Premium subscription today because they removed the dashboard.

@sbdriver  Thanks for pointing out that clicking on "Exercise days" above the single displayed activity brings up the larger activity history.   What a terrible user interface -- no indication that the phrase is clickable, and it's in the white rectangle above the one displayed workout.   I see that other similar headers are also clickable.

I contacted Google Disability Support at  https://support.google.com/accessibility/answer/7641084  as @InsomniacYes  and others recommended.  Their form asked for a lot of irrelevant information such as the disability assist device I'm using.  I just said "the only technology involved is a common web browser, the problem isn't with my device, it's with Google terminating the service"

Here is their reply.   It looks to me like a canned "there, there"
