Maintain Fitbit web dashboard going forward

As an older user, my eyesight and hand eye coordination are poor. So, I prefer the website dashboard on my PC. That dashboard keeps directing us to the mobile app. Please assure you will continue maintaining both as I cannot rely solely on the mobile app. Please consider all of your customers when providing tools. Many thanks!

jrsmith888: Yeah no I gave up on my data. Starting with a fresh account. I could try to see if I can via Health Connect, but honestly it's not worth the hassle for me.

I wish Google/Fitbit would respond in some meaningful way to the peoples' plea to bring back the dashboard.  Just make it an app that can be downloaded to laptops/desktops.  Why is it so hard when there is so much absolutely unnecessary tech out there?  Can't they just have AI figure it out for them and manage it?  If you're going to layoff people at least put AI to good use.

As a Premium Fitbit user and Charge 6 owner, I mourn the loss of a proper Website to view my stats and monitor my progress, the functionality of a website for this purpose is far better than trying to access all the information using the Phone App and I would use it constantly.

Also it is not just about the device I use, there are many many areas as a fitbit premium user that are far better serviced by a full computer screen

Please develop a Website so that I can view my fitbit stats, and progress my health and wellbeing as a premium user

Yes this 100%. The phone app is confusing and buggy and ugly and tiny. It is a nightmare for a senior citizen with a small phone (me). Please bring back the website. How hard would that be? Seriously?

I agree.  Also, Google would be smart to build a population of sticky users.  The Dashboard was a way to keep users from switching to the Apple Watch.  Last year I decided not to switch because I would lose all of the hundreds of thousands of steps accumulated using Fitbit.   You're making it much easier to switch.  I hate using the phone app.

My favorite Fitbit feature has been tracking cumulative mileage and receiving award badges.  I proudly shared each badge with friends.   That is now gone. I was just notified on my cellphone that I reached the pole-to-pole badge, but there's no way to share that information.  That sucks.

I really have no reason to stick with Fitbit.  Google seems to trying to make their job easier or maybe draw Fitbit customers away from their laptops and Windows.  That makes me angry.

Google - you don't understand Fitbit customers.

These two feature requests are duplicates. Could we please merge the threads and combine the votes? This will help strengthen the case for influencing the product roadmap. @LizzyFitbit

It would be nice to have a Fitbit dashboard app for PC. I'm a senior and it is hard to read the dashboard on my phone. Moderator edit: Clarified subject and updated label... View more

'influence the roadmap' - really ?

Google has ignored everything in this conversation that's been going on for
the past 18 months, your not even kidding yourself, are you ?

One of the things that I have liked most about Fitbit is working for my next badge.  At one time, I could visit the Fitbit website and view my cumulative steps and the highest badge I had achieved.  What happened to this?  I no longer see this information.

I think this is one feature that keeps Fitbit users from switching to Apple Watch.  If you switch, you lose your miles.  I would suggest that Google make this more readily available and prominent.

SunriseRun407 I would be glad to see duplicate threads combined, to coalesce support. I am not sure how to do this, but I have posted my comment on each thread.

i have no idea how to do this, but I would love to think there are enough
comments to get someone at Google Fitbit to listen, and act. My original
comment that resulted in this thread has generated many many similar

I am in favor of combining the two threads: "Maintain Fitbit web dashboard
going forward" and "Bring back the Fitbit Web Dashboard". Who has the
capability to combine threads - the moderator or a user? As a user, I do
not know how to combine threads.

I do not have compromised vision, but I really need the desktop too.  In addition, I would greatly appreciate if we could use the Desktop/website for streaming premium content on our computers.  I do not want to watch the workout videos that come with premium on a phone.  I should be able to access all the same features on the desktop.  Just use an API.  I want to use the food tracking tool in a desktop web application, as we did before, where I could save certain meals.

Not interested since there are plenty of other devices I could choose, and
that’s not the one offering the most accessibility if I were to change
platforms. I’m trying to get Fitbit to enable the dashboard again. That
was the whole point of my logging ima d making a comment, which I took time
out of my work day to do. I felt inconvenienced enough by the lack of a
desktop web application for Fitbit to do it. Posting suggestions that I
use Garmin or another platform is not relevant.

If Fitbit/Google hadn't publicly stated that they have no intention of bringing back the web interface, I may have actually replaced my Charge 5 with a Charge 6. As it is, they have stated that, and my Charge 5 finally died. Well, at least it's dying, It keeps shutting off during activities and losing them. That said, I wasn't trying to convince you to get a Garmin or anything else, but several people have asked on this and the other relevant thread if any of the other trackers have a web interface. As I just activated my new tracker when a got a notification that there had been a new post, I popped on to let anyone know who may be interested that at least one other company does have a free web portal. Sorry if it's not relevant to you.
