More clock/watch faces for the Charge 3!

So, the Charge 3 is out and there is a huge let down:

There are only 5 clock/watch faces:

Come on Fitbit...at least include all the Charge 2 watch faces too. We all loved the Charge 2 watch face with the time, date and the highlighted feature (steps/heart rate etc.)

Whats missing:

- Faces with the actual DATE and DAY

- Faces with a DIGITAL SECONDS TIMER

Or to say it again, just include the Charge 2 watch faces. Thanks in advance.

I do agree with the above user, this layout would be exactly what I am looking for and need. Thank you for your attempts to accomplish this if it is possible.

i cant help but read through all the comments under any post and all Fit bit seem to answer is look forward to what the community has to say and well look in to this when will there actually be an update or any of the ideas put in to place ?  Also the Text size is the worst ive seen on a smart watch of this size there really is no need!! cheaper alternatives should have been a better choice

After a frustrating couple of weeks with the horrible Charge 3 clock faces/UI/UX and poor customer support, I am returning it. Oh, by the way, I am not the only one who noticed missing steps, it is either a hardware issue or a bug but either way, their "expert" level support response is we will pass on my comments, lame. For those of you with Charge 2 thinking about upgrading, my advice is DON'T upgrade, it is a waste of your time and money and you wish you have your Charge 2 back.

@_whataboutbob You have been getting a different level of expert support than I've been getting. They continue to tell me, "it will catch up". What a joke. I've done their 100 step count test. I get only 25% approximate steps of my total when stepping in shorter increments required in the house during a normal day of getting things done. Sometimes I get 0% of my steps. Yet they continue to say "it will catch up after 10 or 15 steps". I don't always go 10 or 15 steps so it never starts, much less catch up. 

Auto recognize activities is also hit or miss. 

While looking at my sleep pattern, nearly half of the time the app crashes and goes back to the main page. 

More often than not, I get an odd length count while swimming although I always start and stop on the same side of the pool. This means I should always have an even length count every time of course. 

I can not read the only 3 things shown on the face in 3 seconds. And I only get one face option for the 3 stats I want to see.

Sometimes my nap is detected as sleep - sometimes not - even though I nap in the same place without moving each time.

This is a $159 disappointment but I will hang on to it until the satisfaction period is up. Maybe they can solve the problems with a software/firmware fix before I will have to return the Charge 3 to REI. I suspect it's a hardware problem though causes by releasing a product that was not perfected or tested first by real active users who participate in multiple activities.

@Lysne That face would work well for me, too. I'd like the option to put an analog clock in place of the digital clock face. But those 4 stats showing at all times would be great, even if I don't really need the date. I would gladly accept it. And that face is readable. What a concept.

I’m not inclined to “settle” for a face that isn’t as informative as the previous model was. And with all the step, sleep, and bug issues this has, its looking like a total product failure. Maybe they’re using all their engineers on a Charge 4 that is an actual upgrade and even works right! Kinda doubt it, though, since a lot of customers seem willing to “settle” for half-baked fixes.

No way I’m buying until it is a real upgrade!

It's a real joke I'm no devoloper but the charge 3 has been out nearly 4
months surely it doesn't take that long to solve what seem firm ware up
grades + change widgets. Does any one actually think it will ever be fixed?

I guess they have passed on our messages and requests they're experts are working hard. I was td earlier it takes a year of testing new fixes to ensure they're user friendly hahah they coil d have tested the product 1st if this is they're excuse. Anybody from fitbit care to comment

Missing the point of the thread I think. Point being there's lots of screen and widget space why cram it all on one screen.

I agree with you but no one seems to want to scroll at all.
Do you also feel that there are some of those commenting who are not aware that there are now 13 faces. When I received my Charge 3 for Christmas there were only 5. I have since changed to the Charge 2 Retro.

The annoying thing about having to do all of the scrolling is when I am actually working out, I have to pause to scroll through the various screens.  It would be uber helpful if I could just glance at my wrist and see time, date, steps, and heart rate.  That's really not a lot to ask for.

I agree 100% or let us decide what we have on the screen and what way round its all already there to customise a bit more would help alot maybe in 8 6 months time we might have the pleasure I guess

Might be a long wait, I purchased mine when first came out and I made the unfortunate mistake thinking "surely" they will get with it and push out some upgrades. Well I ended up not returning my Charge 3 in hopes of Fitbit being such a recognized company and with the good things I read about the Charge 2 , except not being waterproof, I thought surely the new one would be at least as good as its predecessor. But alas!!!!!

Got an email back today from Fitbit 

They have said that they have recognized this and engineers surely should be working on this but needs more votes what ever that means.

From the selling price in UK £130 for the charge 3 FitBit have made £316,550 Just going from the likes on this Thread you would think that would be enough to pay 1 man 1 weeks work to get a fix 🙂
