Please allow Sense to storage Music (mp3) just like Ionic, Versa, Versa 2.
Moderator Edit: Clarified subject
This is needed because:
There's not much point buying a smartwatch for running/exercise, if you still have to pack your phone around with you to be able to get the music you want.
I suggest that Fitbit provides at least "One FREE Year" of premium music for all the dedicated (and disappointed) users. There are over 950 votes asking Fitbit to please allow free music storage on Versa 3 (still no reply) so providing one FREE year would at least let us know you are listening and willing to give a little. Let's see how this goes!
I received my Fitbit Sense yesterday and tried to put my own music (mp3 that I already paid for) on my new watch. I am very surprised, disappointed, and upset that it is not possible with the Sense. I want to use my watch and bluetooth earbuds to go run without my phone. It seems it is not possible. I think I will ask for a refund, return it, and switch to Apple phone and watch. The Fitbit Sense doesn't have the most important feature for me; the ability to upload my own music to use offline without my phone. I still can't believe it! Seriously? It seems I am not alone; there are 1025 votes for this feature.
Seems the company is not making the fix? I can see the same comments since last year, but no actions. Was considering buying the Versa 3, already added in cart but reading the reviews and comments here, seems a bad idea to proceed.
I’m specifically asking for an update that allows downloads and storage from Spotify. Like many Fitbit users, I have Spotify Premium and a clunky remote is pretty useless if I already have to have my phone nearby in order to access my music. Deezer and Pandora make up less than 5% of all streaming.
------------------------------------
(Can I also request an "Edit" or "Delete Post" feature?! Seriously, Fitbit!) Looks like I was repeating inaccurate stats re: streaming platforms and their popularity - Sorry! The Sense and Versa 3 still Really need a local music player.
Dear tonedeaf Fitbit Product Managers. No one is happy with the Sense or Versa music options. We want to be able to store our own music and not subscribe to your choices for our listening. We are seriously thinking of abandoning this platform because our choice of smartwatch should not hinder our or determine our music listening choices. Did the product management team think taking good features away and replacing a free service with pay subscriptions was a great idea? If so, they should all be fired. Well over 1,000 votes for a feature we want back, not new, BACK! This is incredibly disappointing. The Sense is a huge disappointment without music and no, we're not buying new subscriptions.
Maybe we should all go to Fitbit’s website and give poor reviews. Oh and I just love that I’m receiving emails for the Fitbit Sense new price. WHY would a buy a product that doesn’t meet my needs? Maybe you should consider the comments that previous customers are suggesting instead of ignoring them. It’s truly sad. As messed up as everything is these days and you go add one more thing. Kudos to upper management for coming up with new ways to screw over once satisfied customer’s. I didn’t think that’s how things worked but I guess I’m wrong. And what does Moderator Reviewing mean? It’s not like anyone from your company has replied to any of our comments.
The Versa 3 is my first and will be my last Fitbit product if personal music is not added back. I did not purchase it as it was a gift from my wife. I like everything else about it but with no personal music, that's a main feature I look for. Already looking at potential replacements.

yep i think when@LizzyFitbit posted "reviewed by moderator" on 08-30-2013:07 that was the last interest anyone from Fitbit showed. That was 236 days ago plenty of time to do something.
This is the best answer I managed after a lot of attempts and twitter and Facebook. They always refer me back to here. Groundhog Day!

Maybe because this has already been 'reviewed' they are not looking at it anymore??
I got a message about another issue I posted from a moderator and they just said music is not available. It was quite a blunt response, not sure if they were just not that bothered about discussing it or if they had been dealing with the issue a lot. But there was no hope from it.

It appears the Fitbit sense has no way of storing and playing music like the Ionic did in the past. Wife’s Ionic display went dark and the watch became useless after a year and a half. The feature she liked the most was the on board music. Unfortunately the Sense does not allow this like the Ionic with out a music subscription.

Looking through the history of the topic: 'Music storage on Sense/Versa 3', there is no sign of improvement in the near future. This is really a shame for your organisation.
