New Fitbit trackers non wrist based

Hey,

I really like wearing the fitbit one and I am sad to see that all new developments go into wristbands. I would really like to see new trackers (for example with HR mode, cycling and the great stairs function of One) that you don't have to wear on your wrist. I work in a hospital/OR and am not allowed to wear any watches. And if I go somewhere official, I would much rather hide the tracker under my dress.

So please don't forget the non-wristband trackers and develop something new there. I'd buy it!

I agreee. I also work in a hospital and I can not wear anything on my wrists. Some development on the Fibit one would be great.

Hey @Tinessael! I totally love this idea because this will help you wear your tracker even when you're in meetings and don't want people to see your Fitbit tracker.

Thank you for visiting the Feature Request board Smiley Happy

YES!! I love all the new features of the Alta - but I do not want to wear a tracker on my wrist!! I love my One. I love that it's hidden. Even though the Alta has pretty interchangeable bands, I'm not about to spend $400 to own every color and type of band so I can match my outfits. I want all those new features in an upgrade One. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I agree. I hate to have things on my waist, but LOVE the features of Fitbit. I wear my Fitbit One all of the time. However, whenever my Fitbit dies (which I hope will be a long time from now) I am out of luck unless I want to buy another Fitbit one.

Please spend some time thinking about how Fitbit can serve those of us who can't or won't wear a Fitbit on their waists, so we can remain apart of the Fitbit community.

I work in a factory setting, nothing allowed on the wrist either.  I have a very active job and would love the ability to track heart Rate, just not on the wrist...

I am currently wearing my 2nd fitbit one with over 17 million steps and echo the thoughts that there is a community of people who prefer not to wear a tracker on my wrist, can not because of nickle allergy, or not allowed in the workplace.  My family originally purchased 3 fitbit ONEs and each had to replace their tracker once.  My wife had to go to the Flex 2 and has not been happy as the ONE. (she tries to wear her FLEX 2 around her neck.  so clip on, or wear on a different location.  I have my ONE on my key ring,.  What about a RING tracker.  I hope we have more faithful fitbit wearers who will keep our voices heard.  Once my ONE dies then i will probably move to some other type of tracker.  I stopped wearing anything on my wrist since the late 90's and forward thinking people with a minimalist point of view will soon move away from the wrist.

Hi everyone, and thanks for sharing this suggestion. We’re very happy to let you know that this has been released on our Fitbit Inspire 2. You can wear this tracker on your wrist, or clip it to a belt, waistband, pocket or bra to track your data. Please note that heart rate, Active Zone Minutes and sleep stages aren't available when is in clip mode. You can find more details about this device here.
