Hi, I've been using fitbit over two years now and the same amount of time I have been waiting for fitbit to introduce Norwegian food database. I am surprised it still doesn't exsist as I know fitibit is quite popular among Norwegians, and we do love keep track of amount of calories we take in, and norwegian food database would make it easier for us and fitbit products more appealing.
I'm new to Fitbit. Got so excited when I found out that it had food logging! But the apple tasted sour when I found out that there is not a Norwegian food list! Then I found this post... (Not that it was any help. Yeah, I could use Lifesum, but I all ready have multiple apps and I dont need more than I already have)
It's 3 Years since the first post in this topic and these's still not a Norwegian food list. IMO I'm amazed that Fitbit; witch is a big company and one of the top sellers of activity watches (at least in Norway) and I find it strange that they haven't found a solution to this after all these years. Disappointing! Show the Norwegians costumers that you appreciate us by fixing this issue asap!
Sadly I dont think the Norwegian Food Database will ever come. It is a bit of a con that Fitbit is still heavily marketed and sold in Norway in high volume with only a subset of its functions working. I stopped using mine a long time ago. The suppliers should take some responsibility here, why do Expert continue to stock it? It should come with a warning that food can not be monitored

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing this suggestion. In terms of an update, there aren't currently any plans to release this feature. Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us and we will let you know if anything changes
Please, add Norwegian food database. I'm very disappointed buying this new gadget, with no possibility for having a complete experience of either fitbit, or Lifesum that I use for food tracking.. I'm thinking to send back my new Fitb charge as it all seems stupidly made without this.
Hi @izaols, thanks for taking the time to share why you would like to see this option on the Fitbit app. This feature suggestion already exists, so I’ve moved your post here. While we don’t currently have plans to release this feature, we always appreciate the passion and creativity that comes out of this Community. Since we know this idea is important to many of you, we have left voting open to continue tracking interest and will post another update if anything changes. Pretty old post, but figured i'd add my 2 cents to the matter. But seeing that the post is this old, I'm not holding my breath. We definetly need a Norwegian database. Literally nothing i try to scan is working. So why would we use this feature. I believe there would be a lot of us willing to help out adding things to the database as well. I would gladly submit everything i come by.
I have been using Fitbit for my health since 2013, and it has been I lifesaver. However it's so frustrating to have to use other app's for my food-tracking.
I really would appreciated if you could answer us about this topic.
