Quick Replies for iOS Devices

When will it be availible to reply with iOS for apple users. I noticed Versa can reply to text but it says only for android. I will never switch to android and the reply to text is the only thing that Fitbit is missing. Apple Watch does all the same plus reply to text and taking calls. Big miss on Fitbits part.

Having spent time reading replies from people surrounding this issue, I really think you should consider getting together with apple and sorting this feature out. I know they want people so spend £££ on their own product to get this feature, but for those who want to track fitness i think Fitbit is so much better. It would be so handy to be able to send a quick reply from my wrist, instead of getting phone out of bag or pocket.

Please listen to what your customers are requesting and sort out this compatibility issue, let those people who own the iOS platform have the full functions of these brilliant watches you make.

I’ve always had  an Android and now is 9 months that I have an iPhone I don’t say I don’t like Samsung anymore I love it because it allows you to do anything but I like even more iPhone because they are restricted to some things but I don’t understand why they a restricted to Fitbit  ti quick replies

Please bring the reply feature to iOS. It is ridiculous that Apple users don’t have the same access. I love Fitbit and next phone may consider something other than iPhone due to this feature!

Please add a quick reply feature for iOS!! My husband and I just got versas and he was surprised to see that his android had the quick reply feature and not mine for iPhone. I’m a little disappointed and would hope that this enhancement can happen soon!

Please have that available for Iphone users.  I don't understand why you have it available for Andriod users but not ios users.

I think that the Charge 3 should be able to do quick reply with ios as well as everything else.

Quick text replies is available for Android but for IOS users it’s what? Under consideration still? A possibility only? or has that been put aside because enough people aren’t complaining in here anymore (not everyone comes here to comment on everything, they just wait for the obvious improvements to happen, trust you to improve and upgrade). It should be out for IPhone users by now as well. I can’t believe how many things are lacking on this Fitbit charge 3. Considering exchanging for an Apple Watch or other Smartwatch. Have had Fitbit flex 2 and the original Fitbit one for years - and although they didn’t have a lot of options, I did not expect much, whereas with the charge 3, I’m expecting a lot more than I’m getting.

Just switched to an iPhone and was very disappointed to find out that I cannot reply to texts from my versa. Would be a really handy feature to add

Please add the reply feature to the iOS devices. What’s the point of me having a Fitbit Versa if I can’t use it for its entire purpose?

To everyone posting here, it is important to know that this problem is solely Apple’s problem. I am critical of Fitbit when they deserve it, but in this case, this is NOT Fitbit’s fault. It is the fault of Apple’s closed operating system. There really is not much Fitbit can do, though I am sure if they can get a workaround they will. So please don’t blame Fitbit in this situation because their hands are tied.

HI, I am a Fitbit versa user and have been talking to apple and they said that the reason Fitbit has not created quick reply for IOS is because fitbit doesn't want to pay the money to modify their app.  But I have also read reviews that they don't have quick reply for IOS because Apple won't let Fitbit have the rights to quick reply and they have limited it only to the apple watch.  I want to make an online place for people to say what they have to say about the quick replies on IOS.  Fitbit told me it is impossible and I do not believe that so.. please help me because the more people we get to say something, the more chance this has to actually become a possibility... please help me in this fight and we CAN WIN THIS!! thanks for reading!

Charge 3 should have quick replies for iOS devices (or androids but i am not aware of there is an issue with that) and should be the same for all. If there isn’t a problem with androids, then why is there for Apple devices ? it should be the same for us all

I’m not blaming Fitbit. It seems pointless to have a product that you can’t use it to its fullest potential. I read that the more people that want certain features needed to respond, so that’s what I was doing, in hopes something would get worked out soon.

Apple doesn't allow apps other than the Apple Watch app to send quick replies for notifications.

Yes open this up to ios/ apple devices. There are more ios decices used than android. This probably comes down to $$ with licensing agreements but im sure fitbit can afford it. I know sooooo many people wanting to get this fitbit vs an apple watch but is hesitant bc of this.

PLEASE bring quick replies to IOS/ IPhone. I understand that people are saying that apple will never allow Fitbit to have quickreplies for the iPhone due to competition with apple for the Apple Watch, although, android users are available to use quick replies even though Samsung has the Samsung watch (which would technically be in competition with Fitbit as well).

Don’t see it ever happening.
