Rearrange or customize Charge 3 & 4 apps/stats view/Today

I'd really like the ability to rearrange the built in apps on my Charge 3. The app I'll use most often is the Weather, which is on the last page! I have to swipe a bunch to get to it. The next one would be the timer app, which is on the second page. The most frustrating part is that on some of the help pages, the images show the apps in a different order! I've spent ages trying to figure out how to adjust it.

I've just set up my Fitbit charge 3 and the first thing I went to do was remove relax and move the timer forward. Then realised I couldn't. Absolutely gutted as I need quick access to the timer rather than sifting through apps I don't use. Would really really appreciate being able to rearrange like the charge 2 did.

Totally agree! I hate the order in which the titles are on my 3

I would like to be able to rearrange them and remove some of them-I dont want to see half of them when I swipe up! 

And no date on the watch faces? Cmonnnnnnnn

Although do like I can have an analogue face now!

I absolutely agree! It would be really helpful to be able to prioratize the apps as we wish.

You can get the date. Just find a face that has one in it. I have one.

I’m with CTharr (full post quoted below). My elderly mom and I got one for Christmas (my mom’s never had one before whereas mine was a replacement for my Charge 2 which I LOVED and raved about to everyone); and my mom doesn’t wears hers most of the time anymore and I’m about to give mine back up for a Charge 2. Really disappointed because I’d been the primary Fitbit evangelist in a family that favors Apple & Garmin.

After reading so many entries in this post and realizing Fitbit is doing nothing to correct or even acknowledge the real problems so many of us are experiencing, I'm done with my Charge 3 and returned it today. I will continue to use my Charge 2 until it dies and bought a new band for it on Amazon today to improve its appearance and hopefully extend its useful life. When it eventually dies, I will be looking primarily for a non-Fitbit device to replace it unless something dramatically improves with their Charge product line. If I ever do buy another Fitbit device, I know with certainty I will not be an early adopter and will look for actual customer reviews in forums like this in the weeks and months following its introduction rather than relying on commercial reviews that always accompany a product launch.

Like so many others, I upgraded from a Charge 2 to a Charge 3 at Christmas, and I was super surprised to find that I can't rearrange or delete tiles on the watch itself!  I'm amazed that this feature was omitted and equally amazed that it's been over three months since the Charge 3 release, but the issue isn't "fixed" yet.  At the moment, the tiles are a bit too cumbersome to use.  Please, please, please add this feature!!

Another vote for the ability to reorder & only show the stats you want in the 'swipe up' view (especially weight - far too personal!) and the same for the apps as well.

Charge 3 - allow for modifications to the ‘stats’ when swiping up.  I do not need to see my weight, or other stats on a regular basis.  However, modifying this action on the app would allow for peeps to have more customization on the watch face that is appropriate to their routines..

I am a bit disappointed to hear that such basic features as rearranging apps is not possible, as it is on the predecessor - I think I will postpone my decision to buy the Charge 3.

I would really like to be edit what I see on my charge 3!! I don’t track my water in take or distance walked but I still have to scroll through them. I track my periods in the app but I don’t need to see that on my watch as well. Much faster if I get to choose what I do and don’t see on my watch to save time and make it easier to read. Let us at least put them in the order we want!

I can't believe that Fitbit provides no feedback on if they are even working on this issue.  Since I first posted about this several weeks ago, I get email notifications when others do so and it happens EVERY day!  Other than a "thanks for posting"  Fitbit ignores this problem.  I am very dissatisfied with the product and I am looking for suggestions of other review sites to rate the Charge 3.  On their Facebook page, the moderator only provides you a link back to here.  Its ridiculous.

How about posting reviews on all the commercial online sites that stock the Charge 3. AmazonUK, John Lewis, Argos, Currys all do.  Or as a response to Rainmaker's review:

Hit Fitbit where it hurts, and also prevent others from having the same problems as us. You don't have to have bought the item from a site to leave a review there. I'm currently very busy, but I think I'll make time to take my own advice soon!

I’m fed up with Fitbit and their lack of responsiveness to us. I am returning my Charge 3 this morning and moving on to the Apple Watch. The Charge 3 is a complete FLOP! Glad to be rid of it.

The Charge 3 is a major step up from the charge 2 in many different ways. However, there are some minor things I would suggest be implemented or fixed:

• The weather app doesn't sync with my charge 3 often. I find it annoying to try to check the weather and having it say "please sync with your phone." I might as well check the weather on my phone if I'm going to have to sync it. 
• I would like the ability to customize the swipe up menu (the one that displays the battery and all of the stats). I want to choose what is shown to me, or what I would like to see instead. Things that I'm more concerned about.
• I like the watch faces, but I want them to customize them. Many of them emphasize "steps" when I personally don't find that as important as my main goal, such as distance traveled or for others, total active time, for example.
  • To follow up on this, I don't see the point in watch faces that allow tapping to display the same information as the swipe up menu.
• Transitions between swiping to pages and animations seem slow. Minor, but should be noted. The transitions for the charge 2 are much smoother and faster than on the 3. I want a smoother experience navigating in my device. 

Regardless, I'm loving the charge 3 right now. But I hope these suggestions are considered.

Agreed.  I like the double stat clock display, but would like the top section to always display HR, therefore changing the order so HR is at the top should hopefully achieve this?

I also agree it would be nice to rearrange the apps, and other information on the Charge 3.  I also don't need to have my weight show up on my watch while I am swiping up.  I don't necessarily need all the information on the watch that it currently provides.  I show people stuff on my Charge 3 all the time.  I really don't want to show them my weight.

At the suggestion of another poster I have started leaving reviews on external websites hoping that will light a fire under them. However,Amazon isn’t accepting any more reviews. I left a comment on someone else’s review.

It would nice if I could customize my Fitbit Charge 3 faces a little bit more! There is no way for me to currently display my burned calories and heart rate on the main screen like I did with the Charge 2. Let us choose what info have priority to show.
