The ACE 2 needs a breathing app to help kids with frustration and stress and handle hard emotions. Breathing exercises are incredibly helpful but often in the moment can be hard to do or remember to. Having a breathing app with presets accessed from home screen would be helpful!
Hi @BritgetsFit, and thank you for taking the time to share your idea about the possibility of having a breathing app available for kids with the Fitbit Ace 2.

Hi @Kpittsy, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to add a Relax App for Fitbit Ace 2. Thanks for sharing your feedback. I've moved it into a similar request. I hope we receive updates soon.
I 100% agree and would like to tell you why. I have used my “breather” with my granddaughter since she was 3. She is now 5 1/2. Tonight she got a boo-boo on her hand and asked for the breather. I *was* going to get her a Fitbit Ace so she could have the relax option whenever she needs it. But now I see it doesn’t have it?? We absolutely have to teach our children how to self regulate, you are missing a tremendous opportunity to teach the skill. Self-regulation is intricately connected to wellness. If you are really serious about wellness and particularly child wellness, you would totally add this feature. Thx!
during this time with Covid-19, children are struggling with a lot of anxiety. My 8 y.o. loves the breathing meditation setting i have on my fitbit so I purchased the ace 2 thinking it had the same setting and am very disappointed to realized it doesn't. Please add this feature. She really needs it. thank you.
Hi @Xóchitl. Thanks for taking the time to explain why you'd like us to add the Relax App on the Ace kids trackers with us. This idea was already requested in the Feature Suggestions board, so I’ve moved your post here. This will help us to keep the forums organized and make sure the suggestions don't get confused, or split a popular vote. Click on the thumbs-up to show your support.
Thank you! I might also add that you hire more mother's for your Fitbit development team because I'm sure they would have already made this possible. 🙂
I can't believe that this isn't already on the fitbit ace for kids! I bought this watch for my 8 year old daughter and I was so disappointed and shocked when I realized there were no breathing exercises. I thought fitbit was better than that. I have been teaching my children to do breathing exercises when they are stressed or need to calm down before sleeping. This is a valuable tool for children to learn at a young age that they can carry with them through their whole lives. It is so needed right now. Please add this!

I bought my 8 year old daughter a fitbit ace 2 for kids and was SO disappointed when I realized there was no feature for breathing exercises. Mental health is just as important as physical health and I am surprised that Fitbit doesn't get this. These kids need to learn coping skills at a young age and breathing exercises help so much with anxiety which, is a big problem right now with this generation growing up with covid and home schooling. Please add this feature asap. You are way behind on this, Fitbit!!
I would get the Ace for my kid if it had a Relax app. He likes to use mine and borrowed mine for school and uses it during morning meetings.

Above I meant to say he likes to borrow my charge 3, NOt my Ace. I don't have an Ace but was looking into what features it has before purchasing, and was disappointed, but not as disappointed as others who bought it assuming it had the feature on my fitbit. I don't use Relax, and i guess there's a lot of features I don't use like water and diet tracking, but I was surprised and glad my son does.
Yes, please please add the relax mode to the Ace. My 6 yr old daughter loves using it off of my charge 3. It really helps her to calm down and relax. I think this would be a huge selling point for a lot of parents.
I think kids would benefit from having a guided breathing app - such as the guided breathing app currently offered on the Charge 4- on their trackers (for example the Ace). Have similar options for intervals such as 2/5/7 minutes.
Hi @Ebartrob, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to see Relax App for Fitbit Ace. I've moved it into a similar request. I think that a lot of users would like to have this option on their Fitbit devices. You can learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get released in our FAQs.
Thank you again for your participation in the Feature Suggestions Forums.
My son has anxiety and likes to use my fit bit to calm down but he’s to small for it. I’d love this feature to be on an Ace so he can easily access it when he’s anywhere
My 7yo daughter asked if there was a way to do a guided breathing exercise on her new Ace 2. I was shocked that it's not possible. It appears that apps can be added to other FitBit models. A limited app store so parents could customize their child's Ace as they see fit would be really useful.
Hello, are you sure that your calibration was correct, to begin with? Everything depends on accurate calibration. Of course, you can google the model number of the TV and see. For example, I had the same situation with distorted colors when connected to the set-top box; green and white distorted very strongly. My friends advised me to contact the service www.isfcalibration.org, and I was told that I had the wrong calibration, so the console did not transmit transparent colors and shadows.
Basically this is a feature that is one of the primary reasons I'm looking to get something for my child, so if Fitbit doesn't have it, I won't be buying Fitbit.
I absolutely agree. My kiddo deals with anxiety, and a breathing/relax app would help give her direct feedback to help her learn how to regulate her own emotions. It amazes me that this hasn’t been included. Kids need this as much as adults.

Our kid just got an Inspire fitbit instead of a kids' one, because his #1 favourite feature on mine is the Relax app... Would have been better to get him a kids' fitbit for lots of reasons.
I just got my son an ace3 and we're disappointed with the app selection. I got it because he uses my versa for the relax app all the time. Please port to the ace series please.
I’ve just purchased an Ace 3 for my son, which was largely influenced because I saw the Relax App on advertising for the product! It is even shown in your “How To Use Fitbit Ace 3” instructions in the app (see the Navigation section, second animated image)!!!
I’m hugely disappointed that it is not available for children.
And why is the heart rate tracking feature not available for children? Surely it would be a good thing as it may pick up abnormalities/problems in some children?? You could include information so that parents don’t get overly worried that children’s heart rates are more variable and faster than adults but what’s the problem with letting users access this already built in feature? Seems like a waste and a disappointment to me.
