Samsung Health & Fitbit integration

Can we please have something that syncs our fit bit stats with our S Health stats? It's annoying to have multiple fitness platforms especially now that androids are becoming more and more popular as are fitness apps. It would be nice to do it all from one place.

I love my fitbit but having to sync several apps just to get the information on s health is very annoying. Please please please add s health to the connected apps

Can fitbit clarify if this is something you won't do or Samsung are blocking? At least we'll know who to bug!

I have had my Charge HR for almost 2 years and it's almost time to replace it. I would love to see integration with S Health or I may be tempted to replace my Fitbit with something that does sync with S Health.

I would like it if my Fitbit Alta synced with my S Health for my Samsung Galaxy S8.

What's the status on fit bit interaction with Samsung Health?

Since Fitbit and Shealth are less likely to ever get integrated as they both have their respective wearable devices to sell, meanwhile I started using fitnhealthy app to do the job... and it's working just fine 🙂

So about 3 years later and no development for the issue has come about?

I would love Samsung and Fitbit to sync! Please make this happen!

I would love to see Samsung Health and Fitbit synch. I love using my Fitbit for sleep tracking and I know that my Fitbit is more accurate for steps since I don't always have my phone with me, but it is so nice to have some of the information from Samsung Health. It would be great to be able to see everything in one single location rather than having to move around in multiple apps to look at all the data we might be interested in.

Still Nothing? I hope that Fitbit is able to work this out soon. Would be a great thing!

Hi  can we please have an update from Fitbit as there are lots of people asking for this and no response.  Is it something that is being worked on other than the sleep times, which do update in samsung health or is it something you're not going to bother with.

I would hope FitBit would care about it's user's needs since they are a billion dollar / publicly-traded company.

Fact is: Over 70 Million Samsung Users in the .US alone own a Samsung phone. (Potential for 70 Million FitBit Users too)

Anyways, please give us a progress report on getting S-Health working with FitBit Flex & Samsung Note 4 (For Me)  Thanks.

Good morning everyone!

So today I was like I see things that take fitbit data to google fit app. So I was like im sure there is one for Samsung. Sure enough I did find one! So its called "fit and healthy" and seems to sync well as I just did it (day to day.. wont do the year and half all at once for "server overload" reasons). I hope this helps anyone. This is just a means to an end I found. I still wish fitbit would work with Samsung on this.

Asked for an update from Fitbit via Twitter (@Fitbit @SamsungMobile Is the #integration between #Fitbit and #Samsung #Health ever going to happen?) and all they did was direct me here to vote on it. Told them that we have been voting for this feature for over a year and no input from Fitbit. Looks like it's never going to happen.

Sounds interesting, though I'm not sure whether I got your message right.
Did you sync Fitbit with Google Fit data - and then again Google Fit with
Samsung Health app - and that worked?

there are apps that sync fitbit to Google fit.

Then the app I listed does fitbit to Samsung.

So, I'm looking to get a wearable but use a Samsung and S Health app....is there any update on the syncing for a fit bit or am I better getting Samsung Gear??

Well, I bought the Gear S3, works great (except for battery life), however since my company forces us to use FITBIT to track our steps to get discounts on insurance, there was no way to import the data from S Health into Fitbit app. I had to return my gear S3 and ordered a Blaze (Not very happy with it by the way, looks like a flimsy piece of plastic). If Fitbit wants a wider audience, integration within apps is a must

It depends what you want. I had a gear fit 2 and it was more bulky thank my current charge 2. I also think it was more expensive to get decent straps whereas the charge you can pick up plenty on eBay etc for around £10. I find the fit bit app easier to use for me my only issue with the fitbit is the sleep logging  (I don't like sleeping with a watch on) where S Health picks this up it would be easier/ more accurate for me to sync than add manually.

I did find a function in S Health today that apparently links the 2 (settings - connected services)

I would love to see this interoperability. Let's make it happen!

I'm not so bothered by the sleep logging, I was primarily after still being
able to use S Health to connect with my friends and workout partners at the
same time as logging my activity.

Hello!

I would love to see compatibility between Samsung Health and the Fit bit Blaze! Hope to see it soon!

I would love this to happen...

I love Fitbit, I currently have a Fitbit Blaze and a Samsung Gear S2. I do notice a connectivity fault with Fitbit's notification when in bad service areas i.e the metal building I work in. Fitbit works off bluetooth, wifi, and service signal, meaning you could be connect to your device but not get any notifications due to bad reception signal. This is where I love my Samsung Gear I get immediate notifications and I can decline phone calls straight from my S2. I really like my S2 because of all the features and it looks more like a watch and less like a fitness device. I currently keep my Blaze in my pocket to get my steps. On a side note I would LOVE if Fitbit came out with a waterproof watch.

The s health app is a superb app and 2 way integration would be great for people who use it as they have a vast food database etc.
