I would love to have a preset timer option like my old Versa 2 had, or at least remember the last timer set. I use a timer (each for the same duration) multiple times per day at work. Resetting the same timer over and over is tedious.
I drowned my Versa 2 a couple of weeks ago in a swimming pool (apparently it was no longer 'WR to 50m' after 2 years!) so I bought a Versa 3. It is a real nuisance to have to reset the countdown timer every time I want to use it. I didn't have to do this on the Versa 2.
However, I have found a work-around. I set my timer to 20s for resistance stretches. After my last stretch, I start the timer and then pause it. I then exit the timer screen. When I go back to the timer screen the paused time is still there, and I just have to reset it and carry on. You can have several paused timers with different times (although I've only done this with 2 timers).
Hi @Dave1954 - see the previous post about the Simple4Timer app which remembers upto 4 running timers, can do repeat and many things the built-in timer can't, though you can't run it at the same time as another app because you can only use one clock face or app at a time.
What you can do though is note the start and end times of any exercise and log it manually in the Fitbit App afterwards if you don't need GPS. Whichever method you find most useful.
Thanks, Guy. I tried your clock face and timer app, but (no offence) I prefer the clock face I already have. The paused timer workaround is working well for me.
