See previous days' data across all tiles in mobile app

I like the layout of the new IOS app.  I wish that when I switch days to look at previous days' data that I could have ALL the tiles still change to the previous day's information.  Right now with the updated app only the daily goals change to the previous day's data and the calories in and calories out stay with today's current information.  This is not helpful to me if I am trying to quickly see how I did yesterday which I definitely do sometimes.

I posted this complaint months ago - not sure if I posted it in the right place or not.  So here goes again - I agree that all tiles on the dashboard need to carry the stats from the day displayed at the top.  Not useful otherwise.  Looking at yesterday's steps on the same screen as today's calories and water is ludicrous.  Incredible to think that Fitbit engineers thought this was better.  Hey engineers - try wearing one of your devices, get up out of your engineer chair and try walking and exercising and caring about your calories and sleep and water and weight.  It won't take you 10 minutes to figure out that your engineered software change was completely counterintuitive to all normal humans.  Please fix it - it's long overdue.

Very disappointed & frustrated with Fitbit regarding this unresolved matter. I've recommended Fitbit to many of my friends and family and will definitely be rethinking future recommendations!

I called today to report my "tile" issue not retaining historical stats, and was advised that this was an "engineering" issue and to record my issue on this forum.

Please reinstate/correct this issue as it is quite useless to me to look back at previous dates to review stats at a glance - only to get the current dates data.  Not sure what purpose that serves?  But I find it very inconvenient.   This was one of the nicest features about the app - to view historical data at a glance.  I do not like the current update at all.

Thank you -

It seems ridiculous to be unable to see previous days' sleep and activity on the dashboard. FITBIT please fix this!!!

I am upset my app is tracking water wrong it puts what I put today on the days that have gone by. I like this issues fixed or I be looking into Apple Watch.

The tiles for sleep, excercise, steps per hour, water.  Those need to reflect what happened on previous days. Currently they show the most recent sync, which is very inconvenient if I am just looking for a quick over view of what happened the day before.

I am disappointed that I am no longer able to see all my stats from previous days on the same dashboard.  It only makes sense that if one is going to the trouble of tracking sleep, etc.,, the results should all be available in one place.  Please reconsider restoring this wonderful feature of the original dashboard.

I did do an earlier post about this, but moderators messed with it and I would like to ask the support team whether this feature will EVER be fixed.  This issue is huge for me and every time I go back to Fitbit, I feel my blood pressure rising as I check previous days sleep, only to see the current day's sleep.  HOW IS THIS HELPFUL?  I often sleep for a short time several times a day.  I need to see that day's total, not click on it and see the short times and have to add it up.  PLEASE, please, please fix this.

Removing the ability to track all data from the previous day is a down grade, come on FitBit you can do better than that - can't you?

Waking up after doing an app upgrade to find a downgrade is a bummer.

The reason I purchased a Fit Bit was to track my patterns day to day without taking 5 steps to do so.

Please change the dashboard back to daily views.

Agreed. It's August 2017 and I've only just been told now that this is a feature and not a bug. Fitbit chat help was trying to troubleshoot with me and ended up passing the info on the development, who emailed me directly saying this a feature. It's certainly not intuitive.

WTF?  This is NOT a feature.  It's frustrating and very unhelpful.  Sometimes I forget that I have to go the website and get agitated.  I am looking for another product or will just stop tracking altogether.  Thanks Fitbit, for NOTHING.

How long do we complain because of this so-called-feature? Is it arrogance, ignorance or just incompetence, not to change the point of view from the developer’s view to the user’s view? The focus of software development is usability and not an easy going programming.

If all the tiles are autonomous without the possibility to associate the tiles, the software design is insufficient, because not all common use cases are covered. So a redesign has to be considered at least. And it would smooth ruffled feathers, to communicate … Trying to sell this insufficiency as a feature is annoying.

I do not understand why - after all of the MANY - feedback posts that I've read regarding this - I've yet to see one single comment/acknowledgement/feedback from Fitbit.  Extremely frustrating!!

Hi @Mikela123 and @BobTheCat - thanks for suggesting this feature. I understand it's frustrating not to receive an update and I get that this is still on your list of wants. I don't have an update for you at the moment but this has been logged and I will let you know if there are any upcoming changes. Thanks for your patience on this.

Hundreds of people have requested this. Why is it so hard for Fitbit to understand what it's customers (you know, the ones who spend their hard earned money) want????

It's been OVER A YEAR since this bug/undesired "feature"/functionality downgrade has been reported....

LizFitbit:

Thanks for suggesting we have patience - but you've used any we had left up now.  FIX IT.  NOW.

And FIRE whomever keeps stopping this from being addressed, AND whomever keeps telling your customer "service" agents that in order to get a bug/feature request "entertained" by the development team that WE have to come out here and type it up...!!  We've done this--hundreds of us----for over a freakin' year...!!!  You have failed miserably.  Now DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!

I agree too but Fitbit obviously doesn't care what their users want. It just doesn't make sense to me.

My Fitbit One battery is draining after just two days now so because there is this issue, I am abandoning it and either not tracking at all or will buy another NON Fitbit product.  Too bad to lose a customer for something that would be oh so easy to put back how it was.

I have the base model Fitbit. My daily info is all correct except the sleep data. Initially it was accurate. A few days ago, I noticed it showed I went to sleep at 11:26 pm, when it was actually 9:30. I reset the Fitbit by plugging it in and pushing the tiny button on the charger, as recommended on the site. Since then, it’s recording the same data every night!   Thankfully, I was given this as a gift, and didn’t spend my hard earned money for it!  Come on developers-surely you can do better than this!

Agree with so many people here. You have an arrow to flip back days — ALL THE TILES’ info should be from the day you are looking at! This is such an obvious, common sense thing, and you have a large number of people complaining. Please make this change!!!
