See previous days' data across all tiles in mobile app

I like the layout of the new IOS app.  I wish that when I switch days to look at previous days' data that I could have ALL the tiles still change to the previous day's information.  Right now with the updated app only the daily goals change to the previous day's data and the calories in and calories out stay with today's current information.  This is not helpful to me if I am trying to quickly see how I did yesterday which I definitely do sometimes.

Please make this change...we need longer timeframes, scrolling back with 1 week or 1 month intervals is tedious and doesn’t give a succinct picture of long term trends. Please add 3/6month, 1year, and ‘all’ options like you have in the weight chart area.

Hi @Bert9576! Great suggestion, thanks for sharing.  I've moved it into a similar suggestion. Hopefully we will have support from other users since more votes and comments an idea has the more visibility and momentum it gains.

Good luck with requesting new functionality. We’ve been asking to simply roll back a ridiculous “enhancement” for years and it’s still under consideration. At that rate, hell will freeze over before you get what you asked for. Personally, I’m done waiting and getting an Apple Watch.

They said over a year ago they would not change it. I don’t know why it’s still up

This thread immediately began in 2016 when Fitbit moved to a graphical dashboard. Check the board history. Is this what endorphins do to the Fitbit staff’s brains? Not a ringing endorsement!

I agree! It isn't intuitive that only some of the tiles update with past day's information when you are on a past day.

Showing current day's stats on the dashboard when reviewing an older date is very confusing.

As you scroll through the history of days, the dashboard should show the high-level aggregates of the currently displayed day.

I agree in that when I switch to a previous day, I see all the dashboard information on that day.

Currently, when you scroll through different days on the fitbit app, the sleep tile remains current to the present day. This really makes no sense to me and is confusing until you realize that's the case. I see two good options: 1. Just stop making this tile permanent. Out of all the tiles, I'm not sure why sleep is the tile that is relevant for this. 2. Make it possible to lock any tile when scrolling through the days. Thanks!

I believe data for each day should appear for each tile rather than goal data. This to me is a more consistent approach.

I believe data for each day should appear for each tile rather than goal data only changing. This to me is a more consistent approach.

Please update this feature. I want to see each days data in the dashboard. Very frustrating!

I cannot imagine why it was ever designed this way - it's so counter-intuitive. When I look at a previous day, I want that day's stats - at a glance, without having to click to a "detail" or "history" page. Why else would I have clicked to go to the previous day? I don't want to see today's info on a previous day's dashboard screen.

I can’t believe this has been suggested since 2016 and not changed....  makes no sense whatsoever to scroll back to see previous days data - except it’s not all previous days data! This surely can’t be ‘design’, must be an error because it makes no sense.

I agree... this is very short-sighted, this is not what customers wanted.  I asked to have my app restored to a previous version.  Apparently, this multi-million dollar company doesn't have the expertise to make this available.  I guess it is a million dollar company with a nickel technical department.    So because of their glaring mistake, we have to click around to find the information one wants on their app.  What a mickey mouse way of doing business.   I wanted to return my FitBit for a refund.  But because I did not buy it from them.   How's that for customer support.  My recommendation is if this isn't rectified.  That fill every blog, this blog expressing our displeasure and start the process of returning these now second rate products.

Omg yes. I find it so frustrating that not everything changes. I want to be able to toggle between all of the data points not just the top half!

I second @BobTheCat 's idea.  I want the tiles for the previous day to show the previous day's information.

Last Fitbit for me. When it craters I’ll switch. I’ve heard good things about Garmin. Apple is always an option... Fitbit doesn’t care about us. My band is broken, battery is weakening, so it’s just a matter of time...

After three years with nothing more than "we'll take it under advisement" responses, it should by now be apparent to everyone: that the company has their own agenda; that they think we know nothing about our own wants and needs; and that the lack of action (or even explanation) is a big, rude, covert gesture to their customer base. (You may choose your own rude gesture for illustration.)

I agree! I’m done when the Fitbit that I currently have dies. Fitbit has completely ignored our posts for too long.
