Stop Wallet setup notifications

I do not wish to use Fitbit Wallet and I do not plan to. I keep receiving notifications to set it up. I need an option to stop or opt out of these notifications.

Please stop the wallet notifications. It's so annoying. Why do you want to force customer to see this notification every time they check the time.

Probably because the sooner you cave and sign up for this nonsense, the sooner they start making money off you every time you use it.

Two years since this request was put in and still no change! The notification is driving me nuts! I’m legit ready to throw my Fitbit in the trash and move on to Apple Watch. You shouldn’t be forced to add your cards to fitbit wallet. 90% of the time instead of seeing my Fitbit watch face the setup wallet notification pops up instead and doesn’t want to switch screens. There’s a bunch of forums out there of people complaining about this exact issue and honestly had a read about it ahead of time I would have got the Apple Watch instead. I will definitely be recommending others avoid Fitbit in the future. It’s meant to be a FIT bit not a wallet bit. This should be an easy change in an update for fit bit. It’s garbage that it hasn’t been addressed by now.

Not sure why posts explaining how to turn it off aren’t getting to you but I’ve seen dozens…
Go to settings: shortcuts. Then remove/substitute wallet for something else.
Done. Easy peasy when you know how.
It drove me nuts too so don’t feel bad. I admire your patience to last two years🙈🙈🙈

All my watch will do is tell me to enter a card in the 'wallet' and get into Spotify with my mobile app.  How do I get the thing to track my steps and bypass these two messages?

I am as frustrated as all of you with the #@!$%!! 'wallet' notification.  If I would have know the Sense had a feature like this I would not have purchased it and bought a different brand.  In fact, I still have time to take it back so that may be the answer.  Other than this one annoyance I like the Sense fitbit.

Hate Wallet notifications.  I will never use it.  I do not understand why, with so many people asking for the possibility of disabling it, nothing is done.  I am about to get rid of my sense for this reason.  It is extremely disturbing,

Press ad Hold is launching wallet by default.

Go to settings on your Fitbit.

Go to  shortcuts

Turn off Press and Hold or assign a different shortcut to press and hold. That will stop the setup wallet message.

Anyone found a way to stop the 'Add Card' annoying reminders on the Charge 5?

The shortcut suggestions are not usable on the Charge 5.

Been getting this notice numerous times a minute/hour/day since updating to 57.20001.171.50

To stop wallet notifications go to settings on your watch. Go to shortcuts. Turn off all shortcuts or change them from wallet to something else.

Thank you, but on the Charge 5, there is no 'Go to shortcuts' in the 'settings'.

Very annoying.  Whether you don't want to use it or if you have no supported banks...this prompt keeps coming up....when I check the time....in the middle of a workout.  Prompt me once or twice, but then give us an option to say "Don't prompt me any more. I'll do this on my own later."

Yes! Please fix this... Crazy that it has been an issue for years. I don't mind being asked in the initial setup process or even monthly or something but it's many times per day... Basically I look at my watch only to see a notification to set up wallet. It even pops up when I'm in a workout which is super annoying.

Go to settings: shortcuts. Then substitute wallet for something else on the 4 shortcuts for the 4 corners. .

Please allow me to stop the "set up wallet" notifications. I won't be using that feature.

This needs to be fixed. I am literally receiving this notice every 15 to 30 seconds and have to select "Got It" at least four times each time to clear the message. I believe this is also causing the battery to drain at an alarming rate, losing at least 10% battery power every hour with a maximum battery life of 3 hours. At this point, it is useless as a sleep tracker, let alone as a step counter.
This is the second Charge 5 I purchased in less than a year after the last one died and I will not be buying another.

I agree with this. up until last night I didnt get notifications of any kind about fitbit pay on my fitbit. I do not plan on using fitbit pay and do not want constant notifications on my fitbit where the only way to get out of it is to pull up something else. Please turn off FORCED fitbit pay notifications. It is especially annoying IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT when I am trying to SLEEP!

Fitbit is showing an incredible lack of interest in what their customers want.  I have had many different fitbit devices over the last ten years or so and the constant notifications to set up the wallet which I never intend to use is very annoying.  When my current device reaches its end (they only ever last two years at most) I will have to seriously consider alternate devices that are more reliable, less annoying, easier to use, and made by a company who cares a bit more about their customer's experience with their product.
