Sync with 3rd party meditation apps

Being able to use a dedicated meditation app (Calm, Headspace, Insight times, etc) and syncing it to fitbit would better than the current option.

I would also like if I could connect my Fitbit app with insight timer or similar apps.

I just bought my first Fitbit yesterday (Luxe), and as it seems I can’t sync my regular mindfulness app (Calm), or reading the previous answers I don’t understand how to do it, it’d be great if there was a possibility to log my mindfulness sessions manually.

I would love to sync mindful minutes with Calm. Calm syncs with my Google fit - it seems like this would make it an easy integration. The calm offerings in the premium app are limited. I want to use the whole calm library.

I second this request to sync with Calm and allow us to use the entire Calm library and not just a few of items!

I wish fitbit would sync with my calm meditation sessions. I have a subscription with calm so the subset of calm sessions offered in the mindfulness tile seem insufficient and unsatisfactory.

I would like to stay in the fitbit universe but they would need to offer more and have options for people with a pre-existing practice.
A timer mode would be helpful, too.

Might be hard to compete with apps like Calm, though.

In addition to the apps in the original comment, I saw others mention “the tapping solution” app, and I concur. I use the tapping solution, insight timer, mood mint and others at least 4 times a week, but my Fitbit shows no mindful days and no reflections which means that the stress management score Fitbit displays for me is not accurate. Please integrate these apps. I’ve used these apps for many years prior to Fitbit having mindfulness tracking, so I will continue to use those apps as that is where my complete mindfulness tracking exists.

…or, if it’s easier, at least allow us to log mindful time manually or via a timer we could start when we start our mindful time on another app…clunky, but at least we could try to keep things accurate. Something has to be done.

So does Fitbit not want to hear product improvement suggestions from their customers?

As a small business owner all my best decisions so far have come from listening to my customers.

The way that forum user agreement is written it sounds like Fitbit doesn't really want to hear what we have to say. And from the responses I've seen from the moderators so far that seems to be the case.

Pretty discouraging.

I've been pretty happy with this product so far and was optimistic about it's possibilities for 3rd party mindfulness application integration until I saw the responses to the existing posts in this forum.

Fitbit can do better and can start by changing its policy to reflect a desire to directly engage and respond to the needs of its customers.
