Take/Make phone calls on Versa series

 I was wondering if you could add a feature where you can call somebody on the ionic. For instance, if someone is calling me on my phone, I can answer the call on my fit bit, and talk to them from my fit bit. That would be amazing if I could do that, or if you guys want to take it to the next level, you can make a contact list and I could choose somebody that I want to call from the ionic.  (Obviously, since the ionic does not have a Sim card, you would have to be connected to your phone.).  This feature is similar to the Apple Watch.

I agree op. Making an out going call is about the only feature I miss now. Over all, very pleased with the update and not concerned about Google not giving a verbal reply from the watch.... Though it would be good as an option I'm sure.

Being able to take calls on the watch is a game changer though and has already proven very useful.

I agree, i used to be able to make/initiate calls on my Samsung Galaxy watch, and talk throught the watch with its microphone and speaker, and also access my phone contacts to call them. This is definitely a massive feature this watch is short of. Please make this happen Fitbit!

The Versa, Versa 2, Versa 3, and Sense always has had the ability to talk to text. @ANGi3MARI3 

The Sense and Versa 3 have an added speaker and Alexa can now speak back and we can answer and talk through the tracker. 

@kiryo the Versa 3 and the Sense are the first trackers with a speaker, and yes we can answer calls through the tracker. 

The versa 2 does not have a speaker.

Hi. It could be nice, if you could add 'phone' application that will allow make outgoing calls directly from the wrist. Now, I can receive only incoming calls, but I see, that application has all functions - keypad for putting numbers, switching between versa-device and phone, so it could be enough to create phone application.

I currently use an Apple Watch. If a Fitbit was released with similar calls and texting feature t would buy the next smart watch. Instead I just use my Fitbit for the excellent sleep tracking and Apple Watch during the day.

Sorry @gingerpixie28 apple has blocked all third parties from replying to texts. 

The versa 3 and Sense can take phone calls, and if the Google option is enabled, it is possible to make calls, but I think this only works with android.

I would like a messages and phone app to be put on the Versa 3 and Sense because I would like to send messages and make calls directly from my watch without having to reply to a text first or having to answer a call.
