Threaded Messaging

Taunting, Cheering and messaging within the app is fun, however only being able to see my friends messages to me and not my responses, makes the banter much less entertaining. Almost all IM, SMS, Skype and chat programs allow the user to see the entire conversation (both sides of it). Please Fix the Chat to show the full conversation!

There has to be a better way to get rid of messages before waiting 30 days!! This is 2016, not 2000!! Create a DELETE button for people to delete messages they no longer want to see and not have to wait 30 days!

Would be great if we could delete messages somehow that we have received from friends. My message box has a ton of messages pretty often and it would be nice to clean those out manually.

Fitbit - what are you playing at, making a messaging system that only shows you what the other person has said? It is now over 2 years since this issue was raised. This is my first day using Fitbit, and this issue alone is making me want to quit before I've started. Please urgently make a proper messaging service as part of the app.

No-one wants to send a message if they can't see a record of what they've sent. PLEASE FIX AS A MATTER OF URGENCY. Thanks.

I just started using the messaging and it's ridiculous that you cannot see what you have sent! This renders the messaging useless.

I cannot believe this is under consideration, but nothing is happening or has had no movement forward in a VERY long time!

It would be great to be able to view outgoing messages to friends, as their messages often don't make sense without the context, especially if they don't reply for several days. Just like when you have a text or instant messenger thread. Thanks!

Can see this has been a prob for a couple of years, just got my fitbit- bit disappointing i can't see messages i sent - a pretty basic function?! Won't bother using the messaging - shame 😔 Please update Fitbit!

Come on Fitbit, I've just requested to see full message conversations today, 22nd August 2016, and the text below is from someone in January 2014! What's happening? 😩

Yes, please include threads!  Something like Facebook's private messaging.  I often forget how -- and even if -- I replied to a message.  

I noticed the status was updated to "Under Consideration" almost two years ago.  If the issue is with integrating it into the phone apps, it would be helpful if it could still be implemented on the web -- site for starters -- which is probably easier.  Then at least we can check a conversation from our computers until it's working for the phones apps.

I can't seem to vote for this. It doesn't do anything. But this problem is a MAJOR drawback to Fitbit and I would vote to have it fixed if I could.

This seems to be a request from 2014... WHY does it take so long to implement something like this? It is not new software technology, it all exists already. It is horrible on the side of messaging, not everyone replies right away, 2 or 3 days later you get a message from a friend and you have NO IDEA what they are talking about because you sent your message 2 or 3 days ago... PLEASE do something about this... It would also be really nice to have a delete option (which in another thread was also mentioned in 2014)

I don't necessarily want to see comments between other friends or for them to see mine. But I do think it would be more user friendly to be able to pull up an old message between yourself and a friend and be able to view the history. Especially when Fitbit is all about encouragement and progress. Now, we have to go somewhere else to have a conversation about our problems and progress in regards to our activity or lack of.
