Taunting, Cheering and messaging within the app is fun, however only being able to see my friends messages to me and not my responses, makes the banter much less entertaining. Almost all IM, SMS, Skype and chat programs allow the user to see the entire conversation (both sides of it). Please Fix the Chat to show the full conversation!

Just so everyone knows, this is actually now a part of the Fitbit app for Windows 10. Way to go, Fitbit! So hopefully it is on the way for everyone else!

^^^ space_nugget, this is odd - I have Windows 10 and update Fitbit automatically, but I can still only see one side of the conversation.

Could someone from Fitbit possibly clarify the situation?

I love the ability to message and cheer/taunt my friends however it's frustrating that I can't see my replies to them. I can see the messages they send me but my message back disappears from my phone. When u have a goldfish memory like me, this feature would be helpful. Also Te ability to message multiple friends like you can when you are challenging them.
Also would be good if messages to a friend were all grouped together rather than showing as seperate lines.

It's confusing to communicate with a friend through messages when you can only see received messages but not sent. Seems like it should be part of the standard functionality for any messaging tool.

When I am charging my Fitbit I would like to see the range of charge on the Dashboard.

This way I would know when to unplug it.

Press and hold down the button on the left together with the one on the lower right, leave them pressed until the fitbits screen goes blank. This will shut it down and delete any messages.

Yes, i really think there should be an option to delete messages that are not wanted and be able to keep one's you want to save.

I really think that fitbit needs to add the option to delete messages, especially from strangers! Also, it would be nice to be able to see the whole conversation, vs only what people have sent you.

I am okay with getting message from friends and family, but I should have the option to delete things from strangers.

I would like to be able to see both sides of messages, currently you can only see messages received. Would it not be possible to view messages sent.

My Fitbit friend and I think it is a good idea to have the option to delete messages much the same as any other i gadget.

I absolutely love this idea. I am new and chatted with a couple people and got them confused immediately and did not recall who I said whatever to. It's just so confusing; the whole chat or messaging.

All I want from Fitbit in 2016 is to be able to see both sides of my chats with friends and glue that will hold my device together for more than 6 months. It's been more than 2 years that I have been asking for these, and it's time.

I have the Fitbit app on Windows 10, and while it *seems* like I can drill into a conversation, it still only shows me the comments from others, not my comments to them.  It seems like this is a pretty popular request, hopefully we'll see it added soon!

I think it would be very helpful to see both sides of a message within the app. Personally I'm using iOS, but this should be cross platform. Right now there isn't message sent confirmation. When reviewing messages one can only see the received side, so it's hard to tell what you sent. Also, it would be nice to attach pictures in PMs and in challenges, so one can show their accomplishments (like I climbed this mountain).

PLEASE! It's March, 2016! We should be able to see message history, not just received ones. Who can remember what message they sent to whom in what app? C'mon Fitbit people! It should have been in there from the very beginning.

The idea of being able to delete your fitbit messages is long overdue...I still have messages that are long past the 30 day mark and they're still there. It is very frustrating not being able to control this feature. Please get you're act in gear and add this feature asap!! Thanks...

I wrote over a year ago about having an option to delete messages. I have been away from Fitbit for a year and just returned and see it is still the same. Come on developers this should be an easy quick modification to settings. I see there a lot of people wanting this option what is the hold up?
