Water Tracking on Charge 4

It would really be great if the charge 4 had the option to log my water from the tracker. I know it exists on the versa and other smart watches but it would be a really awesome and helpful feature on the charge 4 tracker as well just like you can track exercise directly from the tracker. Similarly, hydration reminders like reminders to move would be incredibly helpful. The two together would drastically increase reaching hydration goals.

I entered this request (similar) for ability to enter water consumption on the Fitbit Charge 4 device/watch  Also I request to have a reminder via the Fitbit Charge 4 device/watch as to drink water at selected intervals throughout the day.  This would be a very important.  I also received the following input from another post from a Fitbit user who has stage 4 cancer, and greatly needs to have this reminder added.  There may be other Fitbit users in the same (or similar situation).  Please respond to this comment/post and outline a timeline to get these water consumption entry and water consumption reminders in the que to be included on the Fitbit Charge 4, it can be done! Thank you.

desperately need to have water reminder and consumption on charge 4.

I have stage 4 cancer and need reminding about water or my kidneys are going to stop functioning.  I’m not very active and I just forget to drink water during the day but this is impacting on my health hugely.

please can we have the reminder added.  It use to be on my old Fitbit but thinking that can’t of been a charge 4.

I can’t afford a new Fitbit and I can’t afford to not drink enough water during the day.

please add this for me.

This is a great idea for tracker users.  Users shouldn't need to pull out their phones for this simple act.

Bought the charge4 expecting it to have water reminders and tracking. Am absolutely shocked it is not. Only now saw a thread saying reminders are available in premium - not something that interests me after spending all that money on the Fitbit. Next time will just pay the extra for an Apple Watch if water reminders are not on Fitbit. Basic features I would expect and pay for are heart rate, step count/calories and water reminders.

Yes totally agree it should have water tracker. I too thought that was a basic and would of been on fitbit charge 4 when I purchased it.

I would like to be able to add when i drink something from the watch. It could be a simple gui with 50ml steps and maybe the options to have alarms/reminders.
I like the option to log this on the app, but i never use it because I forget or I don't want to interact with the phone so much and get distracted.. like, if i have a glass of water at work

I still prefer to use the Apple Watch for this. Plus, you don't have to buy a watch to track water or remind yourself to drink water. Many apps provide these functions. You download it to your smartphone and use it. And you carry your smartphone with you all the time. I don't see the point in buying a watch for that. Maybe I'm wrong, of course, but that's my point. Don't forget to purify your water if you drink it from the tap. Solar salt pellets or other devices to clean or soften the hardness of your water will help you.

I completely agree with you about water purification. It is very important for health and filters are very necessary.

That rather depends upon where you live. I am lucky enough to live where the tap water does not need to be filtered.

Please add an option to log water consumption. I also thought this function is a "must" for such a fitness/wellness tracker. It would really easy to drink a glass of water and just track it directly on wrist instead of using cell phone. I'd also appreciate reminders to drink which should be programmable in the app. Thanks!

I'd love to get water reminders (similar vibration to the move reminders), perhaps with the ability to set the frequency? (eg. every 15/30/45/60mins) I'm not particularly interested in tracking how much water I drink.
