Weather App on Charge 6

Well … here we go again. I started the “Weather App on Charge 5” suggestion 2 yrs ago and watched it climb by hundreds of “likes” only to be completely ignored by Fitbit/Google, so I figure let’s try again.

Please add a simple weather app to the new Charge 6. You had it on the Charge 3 and Charge 4, so why not on the 5 and 6? Let’s get this done!
This is needed because:
Because the whole point wearing a modern smart watch/tracker is to avoid having to get my phone out of my pocket to check simple things like the weather. I can’t think of any other watch/tracker in 2023 that doesn’t have a simple weather feature. Please please add this time. Hundreds of users clicked “like” on the previous Charge 5 suggestion.

On 03/24/2024 Zoltar mentioned a few steps of how to do it.

Some things I’d mention:

1. Ensure you have the Fitbit app on your phone.

2. Click on the link on your phone 

3. When prompted, click on “OPEN APP”

Follow the steps from there.

Another note. If the weather app is not updating your location, on your iphone try going to settings > Apps>Fitbit>Location

and set the location to “Always” so it can constantly update the location/westher information.
