Weather App on the new Charge 5

I agree. I was disappointed when I replaced my Charge 4 with a Charge 5 & found out that the weather app isn't available.

Well that's sad news.  I purchased the 5 thinking it had all the options as the 4.  Very Very dissappointing.

Love my Fitbit Sense and how I can set it to show the weather by long pressing the side button. Was about to purchase a Charge 5 for my wife after the screen on her Charge 3 or 4 stopped working. She also loves checking the weather on her wrist. Just about to submit my order when I read - no weather app. Will not be purchasing until weather app is added.

No weather app for Fitbit HR5. You made the wise choice.

I replaced the HR4 w/ HR 5 and am very disappointed Fitbit does not have an app offering weather.

1 year later and still no Weather app on Charge 5. No agenda or Spotify control either; All of which were available and worked on the charge 4. This can't be that hard to implement seeing as you already have the app templates for the charge 4.

Is there any progress on this? I have just got a Charge 5 and really miss being able to check out the outdoor temperature before going out to run/walk. Is there no way I can link the weather apps from my phone to the fitbit device?

Joining this year-long list of customers disappointed in the changes between Charge 4 and 5. I would like the weather and agenda apps back. Is there someone I can talk to about returning this Charge 5??

I got to be honest i wish i hadn't bought my charge 5 either i think it looks great but after looking through at the myriad of complaints and issues with it im betting its just a broken pile of crap they pushed out cheap to get rid of the stock as its plainly obvious the company doesn't give a monkeys about whats wrong with it the list is endless check the comments for yourselves its hilarious.

with no fixes or meaningful apology's for a bad product Im betting there gonna ignore us and move on with the charge 6 which will probably be a broken wind up clock on a string, but even if its got a goddamn transporter function i wont be touching it i have had enough of being ripped off by a company that gives no care to making sure its product functions once your money has been taken. My only advice is never touch a fitbit product again and go with something that actually works.

I got a crappy little Bluetooth watch from my grocery store that had this feature. I thought I was upgrading by getting a Fitbit and was incredibly disappointed this feature isn't present. Maybe instead of going by 'thumbs up' as the criteria for review, you go by number of Google searches for 'fitbit charge 5 weather'.

How do you go backwards?? We had the weather app on the 3 and 4. The Charge 5 needs a weather app.

Can we get an official stance from the Product team regarding this lack of feature for many of us loyal customers moving from previous Charge versions to the newer Charge 5?  It is their responsibility to prioritize this feature, and it should be their responsibility to own the issue with this community as well, given it has sat here for 14 months without any updates.
