YouTube Music App

It's been almost a month now and a huge product like the Fitbit has only a couple of apps, and one music app. So I was hoping you guys can add the YouTube Music app, since it allows access to a huge selection of music videos and audios. Also the app have 100 song downloaded for offline use. It chooses them based on your taste and updates them every now and then.

Not having a YT music app is literally the only thing preventing me from purchasing another Fitbit.

As you are now owned by Google, when should we expect this? It's been almost 4 years worth of requests so far

@acousticdank This is possible with Versa series. I don't know about other Fitbit trackers but maybe it's possible on them too.

I am relatively new to fitbit, having previously had a garmin, which did allow control of my android phones music. To be honest, I'm beginning to doubt we will ever have the YouTube music control feature, as if it were really an option the might of Google would have at least responded by now, or even delivered. I wish we could get battery life on the sense being a close to the official figures too!! I'm not that impressed tbh, and will look elsewhere for my next device.

Happy April 2021, and Fitbit is now part of Google!

Now that Google owns Fitbit, I'd love to see YouTube Music added to the Fitbit Sense.  I don't want to pay for another premium music service when I already pay for premium service through the parent company.

The minimum feature I would like in a YouTube App or an enhancement to their Bluetooth player controls.

1.  Be able to Up Vote or Down Vote a song as an added capability when I am using my watch to control the music.  Just so much easier than going to my phone to down-vote or up-vote a song in Youtube Music.

Other features such as downloading for offline playing would be nice, but in my use cases, I use the BT music player controls to my phone.

Fitbit is now a subsidiary of Google.

Fitbit OS, I assume, is running from a branch of Android.

Why is there no native YouTube Music support?

Why would you want me to subscribe to a competitor's streaming service?

Fitbit OS was developed by Fitbit itself so there is no link to Android.
Also even on Wear OS (here you can say fork of Android) there is no YouTube
Music app. So we can only wait and hope that there will be an app soon.

Our family loves to listen to music. We got a family subscription for Google Play Music, and that recently merged into Youtube Music. Both me and my husband have several, extensive playlists saved for us, as well as for our children. We use this through the smart speaker system that runs through our house, through our car system while we drive, through headphones while out and about, etc. Having the ability to control the music we constantly have playing via our phones, from my fitbit, would be incredibly helpful.
