I'd love a widget that see's how my calorie intake/output looks. I love the gauge that says if you're on track to lose (or gain) throughout the day. (I'd also like to see this on my fitbit itself, but that's another story for when the charge 2 can receive that kind of info, whenever that is.)
iOS 10 widget screen is so good that I just cannot believe there is still no update from Fitbit to enable one. One thing is for sure, I won't get rid od my iOS devices in future but not so sure about Fitbit.
I recently switched to iPhone and am quite disappointed that there is no widget for Fitbit on iOS. You should provide a widget as it's not very feasible to check the stats by going in app each time. In fact Even when I have turned on full day sync, sync starts only when I start the app. Already some other features which were working in android have stopped working for me in iOS like hangouts messages no longer show up on my Fitbit whereas they used to show up earlier while using android phone.
I know. That's why I think Apple and Fitbit do not have a very good relationship. I have to use a third party app (Power Sync) to even sync with my iPhones Health app. Apple seems to only be interested in their own tracking device.
I guess they have to do something about it, like come up with a smart watch better than Apple Watch which is compatible with iOS or make a iPhone killer or sell the company to Apple.
I use my Fitbit app all day long, whether it's checking how I'm doing on calories, or logging food or water intake. While the Fitbit app itself is flawless (seriously, well done. Don't change a thing.), it would be great if you could add a widget that'd give you a quick look at your daily stats (calories, water, food) and allow you to log food and water quickly from the lock screen. The goal here is to reduce clicks so that i dont have to open the app each time I want to log something a small simple as a glass of water.
I want to be able to easily add the amount of water and food I'm intaking on the notification center. Or just a simple widget that open the app rather that srolling through my apps to find it then scroll down to water then click on add water
I know. It would be wonderful to have a Fitbit widget. But, unfortunately, Fitbit and/or Apple doesn't see it that way. We've been trying a long time to get them to do it, but, for some reason, they won't. Let's just stay on them until they do. It's all we can do.
Honestly I might just buy a different Fitness tracker from a different company, the warranty on my Fitbit just ended and considering the quality of fitbits products I'm surprised that mine hasn't died yet. You can get cheaper and better quality from other companies.
So yes we can see the information on our Fitbits but we can't see all of it. And sometimes opening the app can take too long or maybe I just wanna see the data I can't see on the watch without unlocking my phone. So I prupose adding a customizable widget.
Me specifically, use my Fitbit to monitor my heart rate because I have a really bad problem with anxiety and so do some of my friends. Adding a widget would make it so much easier to check our heart rate during class and check it quicker while on the go. I think it would be a really good idea and it would help a lot.
Exactly! This is what I would like to see as well. It sucks to open an app do several clics everytime I want to log water intake. It would be nice just to do that in widget by just pressing + and - which would add predefined amount of water to today's intake.
Hard agree on the iOS widget request. Nice to see your stats when scrolling through notifications (understanding that background app refresh must be on); would augment the excellent MyFitnessPal widget, and both firms know this is a popular combo.
