Hi guys,
First of all, I'm extremely new to fitbit app development
I'm trying to build an app for Fitbit Surge. App essentially gets gyroscope sensor data, accelerometer data as well as GPS data and after doing some manipulations send it to a server. Is it possible to do that?
When I installed FitbitOS simulator, I can see only 2 modes in device types (Ionic and Versa). So is it saying that app can be developed only on Ionic and Versa, and not on Fitbit Surge?
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Sooraj

Unfortunately I confirm that Surge doesn't use Fitbit OS.

No it's not possible.
Fitbit Studio is the coding IDE for Fitbit OS devices only (Versa/Ionic).
Sorry.

So, are you saying Fibit Surge doesn't make use of Fitbit OS?

@Giampi71Thanks for the update. Is there any fitbit bands that are in any ways programmable. Any idea is well appreciated.

Unfortunately no, the new Fitbit Charge 3 apparently uses a slimmer Fitbit OS that can not be programmed.
