Developer menu in Fitbit app disappeared

It seems that the developer menu in the Fitbit app disappeared. How do I now change settings of my self developed apps or install new apps?

Could you please let me know whether you're using the iOS or Android Fitbit mobile app, and whether you've moved from a Fitbit account to a Google account.

Thanks. Have you migrated from Fitbit account to Google account?

I migrated 2 years ago to a Google account. The layout of settings page in Fitbit app has changed recently. I don't know the exact date. On top is the image of the Fitbit Sense.

Thanks; I'll pass that on. It sounds like the account migration wasn't a factor.

Do you know where I should find the developer menu? I assume you still have the developer menu available in the app.

For migrated (Google) accounts, it was moved to

Devices > [Device] > System > Developer Menu

For legacy (Fitbit) accounts, Google is undertaking additional work re Dev menu access.

I can't test this myself since I don't have a migrated account or any Fitbit OS devices any more.

@Theodorus  Since you're using a Google account, could you please confirm that you can see the Developer Menu in the above location?

I do not see the developer menu under device - [device] - system.

It might be helpful if you could post a screenshot of your device - [device] - system screen, and the version number of the Android Fitbit mobile app.

Hi,

Attached is a screenshot of the devices - Sense - system page. The version number of the Fitbit app is 4.46.

Might you have forgotten to add the screenshot to your post?

I'm having the same issue. Latest version does not include a developer menu at all. Versa 4 doesn't seem to have any support for development at all at this point. The mobile app version is "version 4.46.fitbit-mobile". I cannot upload a screenshot of the Fitbit app as it claims this is not permitted in this community ("The message body contains [error code] which is not permitted in this community. Please remove this content before sending your post."), but I followed the procedure outlined in this message and it simply shows system version, privacy settings, and the option to disconnect a device. That's it.

I can see text that says `[Image]`, but not an image. I may be doing something wrong. Can you see an image in your post? Is the image uploaded as opposed to linked to your local computer?

I just tried to insert a photo using the 'Insert Photo' icon. It worked. It's possible that the spam filtering in this forum blocks filenames that it confuses with phone numbers, so rename the file to something bland. Alternatively, please consider imgur.com or something.

@jonhallur Are you using a Fitbit account or Google account (migrated from Fitbit)? Android or iOS app?
