Differences between simulator and actual watches?

What are the differences between the simulator and the actual watches?  Clock faces that simulate fine, do not work right on my actual watch.  Some errors include displaying literally nothing, or glitchy bars of color when transferred to the actual watch.  So I'm wondering if the simulator is more powerful or handles the program in different ways?

The simulator is much faster; it doesn't try to simulate the processing speed of a watch. This won't cause issues unless you're trying to do something especially demanding.

There are various issues in watches, including:

  • handling images much larger than screen size
  • rotating screen-sized images
  • gradient masks always black (Versa 2)
