If the 'topic of discussion' is confined to a few people, you could send them a direct link to the clockface, which you cna get from its GAM page. They'll be able to install it even if it hasn't been reviewed.

It seems like the lead time is about 7 days before the watch face or app gets reviewed and approved or rejected. So keep that in mind when creating a trendy watch face.
