Google Analytics and anonymous clientid

Hello,

 

I am implementing google analytics tracking ( https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/protocol/v1/devguide ) and am wondering if there are any king of unique device id i could use to identify each user separately (cid paramater of google analytics).

 

I saw a user anonymizedid in https://dev.fitbit.com/build/reference/web-api/user/ but that would require a OAuth context which seems an overkill for this usage.

 

Any ideas ?

No, unfortunately we don't currently provide a unique ID for the developer or the device.
