I expect that official 1.1 release will allow to write code for devices without enrolling in Beta. Is that correct and if it is do you guys have something you can share on when that is going to happen?

There are no changes between the final developer preview, and today's release. It just unlocks the app gallery.
To be clear, now I can develop an app without installing beta bits by just enrolling. Correct?
