Out of beta

ANSWERED

I expect that official 1.1 release will allow to write code for devices without enrolling in Beta. Is that correct and if it is do you guys have something you can share on when that is going to happen?

Correct. You will still need to agree to the developer terms, but there won't be a special firmware required.

We haven't announced the date, but it's soon.

Just got an update also and logged on to see the changeling. Is that it. Just out of beta ?

There are no changes between the final developer preview, and today's release. It just unlocks the app gallery.

To be clear, now I can develop an app without installing beta bits by just enrolling. Correct?

If that's true, congrats on the milestone!
