Powering Sense & Others using a solar generator like Casio, Citizen and Seiko watches would be worth the extra charge. During times away from sources to recharge my Sense, like backpacking, having another way to charge it would save the extra weight of a power supply.

Seems like a good idea but the cost and complexity may be prohibitive.

 

A simpler solution would be a general purpose mini light weight solar panel which could power the phone or watch or any other devices for just a few dollars.
