Hello @Gordon-C 

Is Ionic and Versa Family also limited by the Fitbit Architecture of the upload data to Fitbit's servers?

 

In order that the data just only upload to Fitbit's servers when the mobile's application has been synchronized, or Do Ionic and Versa Family work in different way to upload the data?

I moved your question to the SDK Development forum.  Hopefully, someone can answer your question about recording real-time heart rate data on the smart watches and the requirements to sync data.

All data is sycronized with Fitbit servers, either with All Day Sync, or on demand.
