Streaming real-time data (eg, accelerometer or heart rate) to another device on a LAN can be tricky because of constraints in the communications API. Here's a repo that attempts to do this, using a Python app on the phone to shuttle messages between the Fitbit companion and a computer on the same LAN.
This is a very rough first hack. Expect problems.
This hasn't been tested on Apple hardware. Apple may have different security constraints so this approach may not be necessary.
