Support for image manipulation?

There loads of tools out there that allow image conversion... e.g. Fitbit does not support progressive JPEG and recommends PNG.

 

Allowing image conversion will allow people to fetch images from external APIs and convert them to be supported in Fitbit apps and clocks.

 

Is there any work-a-rounds that are used right now or is this just not possible?

If you pass the image through the Image API, it will be converted to a suitable format.

 

It's also important to ensure that the image isn't too large (and ideally has the exact pixel dimensions of the watch display). The ImagePicker setting can do this.
