I have had the Vesa 2 for a few months now. After the 4.2 update, the settings app icon on the watch itself disappeared.
Everytime I open the application it reboots the device.
Is there a way to trigger a recovery mode, reinstall the OS, or downgrade to a new OS in order to reinstate the settings app features?

You could try this in the phone app
tap profile picture, top left
tap device picture, middle left
tap on apps
Check if there is a Settings app in My Apps, it may require an update
If its not there, or anyway, go to All Apps, search for Settings and add it.
Might help.
