app vs clockface

Hi I start a new Fitbit project on the CLI it asks for app or clockface. Is there a huge difference between the two?

No. The main difference is that a clockface can be the 'default' thing that automatically runs when the user closes any other app.

Clockfaces are slightly more restricted in what they can do with user input (buttons, swipes), and there are subtle differences in 'always-on display' (but that isn't commonly available at the moment).

You cannot swipt or scroll with clockface - that's reserved for showing app menu, "Today", and notifications. Also "Back" button is reserved for turning off. I'm not sure if other buttons are reserved as well... it's not difficult to find out.
