using fitbit inspire 2 to collect and store sensors data for research experiment

i have been searching the web api as well as SDK references to obtain clear answers regarding the possibilty to use fitbit inspire 2 fitness treacker to create an app that collects. stores and transfers on device sensor data specifically acceleromoter and heart rate data to be used by 3rd party android app as part of research experiment conducted on multiple people

Can you kindly confirm to me the possibility of achieving this objective for research purposes ?

You'll be able to get heart rate from the Web API, but not accelerometer. Inspire isn't compatible with the other APIs.

Ionic, any Versa, or Sense.

Be warned that this is very difficult to do. Browse this forum carefully before spending any money, so you know what you're getting yourself into.
