Can someone in AFib use ECG app on Sense 2?

Can someone already in atrial fibrillation wear a Fitbit Sense ECG watch?  They would like to take intermittent ECG's when they are feeling short of breath during activity as per their physician's recommendation.  My concern is that an alarm may keep going off telling them their heart rate is irregular (they already know that)

Hello @Dmbarto and welcome to the Community.  Yes, you can wear a Sense 2 if you are already in atrial fibrillation.  But the user must be sitting still when running the ECG.  I don't know how helpful the information will be.  They will be less active when taking the measurement.  They need to know that this feature will read the ECG as Inconclusive when the heart rate is over 120 bpm.  A few users posted that they get Inconclusive with a heart rate of 100 bpm.

The Irregular Rhythm Notification is a different feature.  You should not use it when you are already in atrial fibrillation.  But it is a different feature with a different set up.
