Can’t Find Weather App Settings

I want to change my weather app to show Fahrenheit instead of Celsius. When I select the weather app to make this change, there is no settings button to select, only preferences, which gives me no option to change the units. How can I now make this change?

Hi @Hermonster, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you choose the preferred units for weather temperature on your Sense 2. Thank you for the steps you have already followed.

To change the units used for the temperature in the Weather app:

  • From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon > your device Gallery > Weather.
  • Tap Settings.
  • In the Temperature Unit section, tap Units and choose the unit you want to use.

Hello, David. Good to hear from you. When I get to the Device Gallery,
there is no Weather selection that I can see. There is an "Apps" button
which leads me to a list of available apps, including Weather. When I tap
that selection, there is no settings option. There is a "preferences"
option, but all this appears to do is to select information that the
weather app can access. All selections are turned on. If I go back to the
Today tab and select my avatar, that will take me to Fitbit settings, which
does have an option for selecting units. Currently, I have Fahrenheit
selected there, but my Fitbit still indicates Celsius. I have tried
uninstalling and installed the app several times, but with no success.
This app was working fine recently, so I wonder if the last update changed
the app, such that there is now no more access to a settings selection,
that perhaps the app is intended to automatically sync with the Fitbit
settings? Thanks for your help!

Hi @Hermonster, thank you for your response.

Yes the path is Gallery > Apps > Weather. Once you get there, you should see a gear icon right next to the word "weather".

On the other hand, the other path to select units, does not relate to the weather app temperature units. I apologize for the misunderstanding.

If you still have trouble with this, please go to the page where you find the weather app and take a screenshot if there's no gear icon at the right. I appreciate your time in this process.

In addition, you could uninstall/reinstall the app if you haven't done so. See How do I remove apps from my Fitbit watch? & How do I add apps to my Fitbit device?
for instructions.

Hello again, David. I went back to the app according to the path you've
cited and now the settings selection is visible (?!?). It wasn't before.
My weather app is now showing Fahrenheit, even though I had not made any
selections. All seems to be well. Not sure what was happening there but
will see how it goes. Thanks again for your help!
