I just got this sense 2 last night, so I’m still pretty lost as to how to use it after using a versa 2 for over 2 years. That said, I’m a pretty tech savvy person but I am getting super frustrated with this watch. The lack of choice for watch faces sucks. But the biggest issue I’m facing is with adding apps to the watch itself. I go to search for apps and all it shows me are clock faces?
I was able to find online there is a Spotify app for the watch - great! So I go to my Fitbit app to get it added to my watch and there’s no way to search specifically for apps or even to browse available apps other than the 10 basic ones that are already on my watch: weather, notifications, etc. Can anyone help me out here?

Hi @Rach2916 - the Sense 2 only supports the preloaded apps (and find my phone), it doesn't have any music support so is missing quite a few features found on the Sense
Only a few clock faces were migrated for this watch, so there aren't as many as for prior models.
Since this year it seems Google has closed the Fitbit Gallery, which means nothing new is coming.
Did you know if you are unhappy with the watch Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy or possibly authorised dealers too, some stores provide 14 to 30 day refunds.
I have moved your post to the Sense 2 forum.

Thank you for your help. I’m seriously considering returning it because it’s just missing sooooo much functionality! I wonder if anyone else has had this same issue

Its pretty lame that their 'flagship' watch is so limited in features. That was the big complaint when I had the Blaze a long while ago and I thought that was a one off orphan where no additional apps are available. I had the Sense for a short while and that seemed to have 3rd party apps. I eventually got the Sense 2 instead because of the enhanced health monitoring features.
As for clockfaces, I see there are plenty available. But it looks like most are not specific for Sense 2, so on the few I tried, certain part of the display or the whole clockface would disappear.

I'm REALLY disappointed with the Sense 2. I had a Sense for a few years and loved it but I accidentally wore it in the bath and ruined it. I decided to upgrade to the Sense 2 and I can't stand it! I'm hoping the shop I bought it from on Amazon will let me exchange it for an original Sense. I started another thread regarding this issue and the reply I got indicated that Google has no intention of making any of the watch faces or apps compatible with the Sense 2. Very bummed.

I think it is pretty clear that Google is intentionally killing the Sense line in favour of their Pixel watch. It's a good tactic when you are a new player with lots of money: buy your established competition out, then kill their product.
Wouldn't be surprised if there is never a Sense 3 or if there is one, that it will have even less functionality than the current iteration.
If I had known all this after Google sent me an email encouraging me to level up from my Sense to Sense 2, I wouldn't have. I feel deceived. I got a sale price, but it was still a lot of money. However, one thing I like about the Sense 2 is that it is not as clunky as the original Sense. It still has similar problems as the original (ending tracking of walks/exercise prematurely, etc.).
I have a Galaxy Watch 5 as well, and everything is free and doesn't have half as many bugs and problems as my Sense 2. Now that I didn't renew my Fitbit premium membership, I may use the Galaxy more often, though the battery life is not as good.

I think you're right. I was upset when I heard Google was buying Fitbit but I've had Fitbits for a while and decided to stay with them. Then my LG phone died and I found that LG had gone into the household appliance business. I wasn't thrilled about supporting Google but the Pixel had the most advanced camera at the time (my top priority) so I bought it. The camera IS amazing but Google is becoming such a bully of a company, that I don't think I'll be buying their products any longer, especially after this whole debacle with Fitbit. Maybe I'll look into the Samsung watch that you mentioned.
Luckily the vendor on Amazon.com is letting me return the Sense 2. Now I'm hesitant to even buy the Sense since it may not be supported for very long as well. I'm really bummed out about this. Thanks for the info!

Oh - and the newest version of the Fitbit app for Andriod is terrible. I spent the longest time going in circles on that app trying to set up my Sense 2.
