Hi, I’m wondering if somebody have same problem. Probably after last update I don’t receive any notification on my watch. I tried factory reset, reinstalling app, I have allowed all notifications on my phone, nothing helps. Thanks

Same issue since the update. I get a little phone icon with a slash through it anytime I close the app on my iphone. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, turned my phone and fitbit device on and off and made sure all permissions were turned off and on and off and on. I don't get it. I have to keep the app open on my phone all the time now? Not going to happen. I loathe having apps open. The below answers have solved zero as per usual.

same issue here, and the FitBit moderatos will swear that just following their instructions works wonders... but no. Still same issue in my case

Same since the update.
Done everything short of a factory reset, and nothing has worked.
Syncs fine when the app is open, but I'm not leaving apps open on my phone in the background!

I can definitely understand why you don't want to keep the app open. Let me try to suggest some steps to see if I can get you back on track!
First of all, let's look for the Background App Refresh in the Settings app of your phone this has to be turned on all the time. This is in case you have an iPhone! In the case of Android, please refer to the following help article!

I’m on iPhone, background app refresh is on in the FitBit app settings.
Turned it off and back on, closed the app, and same issue. Soon as the app closes the phone not connected icon pops up on my Sense 2 and notifications stop.

Let me suggest something. Do not suggest something that is so obvious and logical and we have done many times. You are not giving us new help. It is the repetitive suggestions. I have even resetted the watch, unlinked and linked the device and nothing.
Maybe really working in the software. Because the Sense 2 watch is so expensive to be restricting apps/features of the watch.

Bit pointless sharing issues for the Sense 2 in a thread about the Charge 6, no?
Been through every setting, every set up option, and every suggested fix / workaround, and the result remains the same... unless the app is open on my iPhone I get no notifications.
I'll fill out the form and see what happens. 🤷:male_sign:

My previous suggestion was made because that thread has the largest number of users interacting. This makes it easier for us to share information with the most people in a single update.
In other news, while we are still looking into this issue, there is a small workaround. Please do the following:
By doing this, your device might stop popping up this icon. I hope this is helpful while we work on getting an actual solution!

I found that setting, but the icon isn't the issue... the issue is that without the app open on my phone I don't get any notifications.
Hopefully there will be a solution for this soon!

I've had a response from the support team, who have completely missed the point of the issue and advised me to turn the status indicators off.
Which obviously does not fix the notification issue.
