Can't turn off all AZM notifications on Sense 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I want to stop getting active zone minute notifications all day long. I have AZM set as my main goal, which is great, but I do *not* want it notifying me of my progress. I cannot find the option to turn it off.

Setting my main goal to "none" would be just fine, but that is apparently not an option. I don't want notifications for any goals, no matter what they are. How do I, short of setting a ridiculously high goal, get this to stop?

You can turn off goal notifications directly in settings on the watch.

Not on mine. It only has "Active Zone Minutes" goal as a "reminder" setting, which is already off. There doesn't appear to be any way, in the watch or the app (Sense 2, by the way) to say I don't want Active Zone Minutes *accomplishments* buzzing me.

The notifications section in watch settings only has "unread indicator" under it. Nothing else.

The phone app has the ability to turn off "step goal notifications" but doesn't have any generic goal shutoff that I can see.

My Sense 2 has no such option. There's one for heart rate *reminders*, but not for *accomplishment notifications* (like every time I hit 10 additional AZM, which isn't even my daily goal). There's no visible setting in Account/App/Sense2 sections on the phone app, either, that I can find. The only notification option on the watch is "unread indicator". All other relevant stuff, or adjacently relevant stuff, is off.

@shiblon :

On the Sense 2

- swipe up

- select settings

- scroll down to 'goal reminders' and click it

- switch the goal off

That's been off already (and it's a *down* swipe to get to settings on the Sense 2 ... Just checking that we're talking about the same thing?).

Furthermore, that's to remind me if I haven't achieved it in the day, which is not the one that's bugging me. The notification that won't go away is the *progress* notification.

Try the following:

  1. Open the Exercise App on your watch
  2. Select an exercise, e.g.., "Workout" (scroll all the way down)
  3. In the selected exercise, e.g., "Workout", toggle Heart zone notifications to Off
  4. Repeat for other exercises/verify that they're toggled to Off

Hi everyone. @Mujuro Thanks for stopping by to help our members.

Thanks for taking the time to share these details, as well as the steps that worked for you. As some of you mentioned, there are two set of AZM notifications: Heart-zone notifications during an exercise and weekly Active Zone Minutes notifications. To turn them off, please give a try to the instructions shared in this thread, which can also be found in this help article.

On the other hand, if you want to change your daily goal, follow these other steps:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap your profile picture at the upper left corner.
  2. Tap your Sense 2 image.
  3. Tap Main Goal, and choose your goal.
  4. Make sure to sync in order to apply the changes.

@LizzyFitbit   My weekly AZM goal notification is off.  I know how to turn it off.  I still get that goal notification.  My only option is to set an absurd number that I will never reach.  This defeats the purpose of having a goal.

Someone may not want a notification, but still wants to track a stat. Yes setting the daily goal to a high number will stop the notification, but then as @LZeeW states, looking at the week, or day in review. You don't get a realistic chart.
