I have turned off auto recognize for all exercises in the Fitbit app, and turned it off for walk, run and bike on my watch. Now when I go for a walk it auto detects as strength training! This doesn't have an auto detect option on the watch to toggle on or off and it's not listed in the app settings. How do I turn this off?
Moderator edit: clarified subject.

Welcome to the forums @SBSULLY.
Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding the Fitbit app.
Please, confirm that you have turned off in the app the activities that your device tracks automatically:
in the Fitbit app, tap the Exercise days tile.
Have you rename an activity with another name such strength training?
