My phone and fitbit device are in English. My previous fitbit device sense 1 also was configured to english

now with my sense2 my device is in portuguese. I live in Portugal but my location in the fitbit app says Europe,

why can’t I change my device to english?

Thanks for sharing these details. As you know, the language displayed on your watch will be based on the language you're using on your Fitbit account, as well as the location selected. With this in mind, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > App Settings.
  2. Tap Location.
  3. Turn off the option to automatically detect your country.
  4. Choose an English speaking country.
  5. Tap Today tab and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
