Don't do factory reset often, Sense 2

I’ve been using Fitbits for 10 years and one thing I finally figured out- every time you do a factory reset on your tracker, when you re-connect it to the app, it is the same as a first time setup, so it can take 3 to 30 days before enough data is accumulated for the app to display data. I used to take the advice of the Fitbit rep whenever there was a problem to do a factory reset, but then I would expect data such as sleep or stress data after the first night. When I didn’t see any data, I would do another factory reset, etc, etc. Consequently, no data. I eventually learned patience; first only do a factory reset as a last resort, second after a factory reset, give it at least 3 sleep cycles to see if data shows up. It can take another 7 to 30 days to finally start working right again.

This situation could happen after a firmware update also, it takes some time until all the new parameters are learned.
You can try just a shutdown and then restart. Most times that can cure a lot of problems, or do a soft reboot to clear the cache.

I’ve learned the hard way. Hope this can be of some help.
