Oh I am so frustrated. My ECG completely disappeared off my watch. I went in I put it back on and now it keeps telling me I have to go to the phone app to do something. I have restarted my phone the phone app and the watch . It says it is up and running on the app but it will not work on my watch . I have not switched over to Google and from all the comments I don't even think that sounds like a good idea. I definitely will never buy a Fitbit again and I've had this one for several years. The whole reason I bought this watch in particular was for this function and it worked fine for days ago. it tells me to go to: open your Fitbit app and go to the Discover tab find assessments and reports turn on Fitbit app notifications and permissions I've done all that I cannot get it to work on the watch any ideas?

I believe that FitBit only works with the Google sign in. I've had mine about 4 months and it said right from the start that the FitBit sign in was no longer valid, just the Google sign in.
One reason I decided on getting a "smart watch" was for the ECG feature. It hardly ever works for me on the Sense2. I have a very irregular heart beat. So....I've sent for one of those ECG devices they show on TV. SALE this week. My doctor had one in his pocket and was in favor of it, without really pushing it.
I sure didn't need all the features of this watch, but some are interesting, such as the sleep recording, which was koo koo last night. But when a person has to baby the watch constantly, it is questionable.

Hi.
Google talked over in February 2026. I've had the watch for 4 or 5 years. The ecg was fine a week ago and disappeared off my watch.
Yes I would not recommend the watch. Probably just be an expensive clock after feb. Not sure I want one more thing of Google and reviews of their takeover are not that great.
I'll check into your ecg product you talked about. Thank you!
