Erratic battery levels on Sense 2

My battery level has been erratic. For instance, I took it off because it said I was at 10% life left. I attach it to charge and then it immediately says I have 39% battery.

I just now took a bath, took my watch off and didn't notice what the level was. I got out of the bathtub and went to put it back on it and it was black screen. I was sure I wasn't close, but noticed my app had just synced and said I was at 1%. I put the charger on my watch and it immediately registered 39%.  Seconds before that the screen was black, wouldn't turn on.

There have been several other times over the last month or so it said I was very low, then I plugged it in and the level immediately went up 20% or more.

@hthoms - yes this seems to be a thing with the Sense 2 and Versa 4 models where putting on charge shows a sudden jump in battery level. The management on these watches is less refined in that respect.

Though in your case there would seem to be additional problems.

Even so try changing to a Fitbit clock face and restart the watch and fully charge it.

Sometimes syncing can be an issue and running with Bluetooth off will help see if that is a cause.

If it's an early symptom of hardware damage from water getting in it won't improve, and the last step to verify is to try a factory reset and if it continues a warranty replacement if it is covered.

It is a good idea to make a note of the names of any clocks or apps and any special watch or app settings you use and sync before a factory reset or replacement if necessary.

Bear in mind EEA users are only allowed to install Fitbit stuff after a factory reset or replacement.
